"The quality of the hamper was very sturdy and attractive looking. The only problem putting it together were the screws. They seem to strip easily. Other than that, it was a great purchase for the money."

"Tilt-out hamper is an excellent choice where the hamper has to be visible as it does not look like a dirty clothes hamper. The product was exceptionally well packed and every part was labeled, including the small bags of hardware. Instructions were very well done, with excellent illustrations. Follow them exactly! Some parts are labeled H and H1. Pay attention to that difference. Instructions say two people are needed but I did this by myself. If you have put any knock-down furniture together this will be very straightforward. Finish is very good white enamel (not lacquer). Clothes bins are fairly heavy and they drop back into position without any dampening, so keep fingers out of the way. On the bottom of the feet I added some self-sticking carpet sliders that make it easy to slide around or reposition. Available at most hardware stores. The photo in the catalog is slightly distorted, as the object is wider than it is tall."

"I'm using the hamper as a recycling bin. It looks very nice and works well. The unit comes with a fabric bag for laundry, but I use a plastic bag. It is difficult for a plastic bag to stand up without being folded over the edges (which is then visible when the bin is closed). Maybe we need a small can inside?
Assembly was easy, save for the very last step (inserting the inner containter). The insturctions don't tell you that the hinges can be compressed. It took us a while to figure out.
Overall it's a good piece and I'm glad I purchased it."

"For "Assembly Required" furniture, this brand is better than most. For the most part, doors and drawers align as they should. Parts and pieces are complete. The instructions could be clearer. I do fine because I've assembled several pieces of furniture in my time, but first-timers might have difficulty with the pictures. I purchased two pieces from the same line and they look very nice when completed."

"Great little hamper that matches my bath cabinets. Had the perfect corner in my new bath that needed a not too big piece of furniture. Yes it looks like furniture. I replaced the too small knob with a matching glass knob and I will replace the too small bun feet to give the piece a lift. Overall very happy for the price and quality. Was able to get my old laundry basket out of valuable closet space."

"I recently purchased the Hampton Bay Triple Tilt-Out Hamper, and the construction of the hamper is exactly as described. It is definitely made of top-quality material. The tilt-out bin does not snap close when pulled out. It remains open until you are ready to close it. The hamper is the third piece of furniture that I have purchased from Home Decorators. "unlike many of the other reviewers, we got the single "drawer" hamper since so many felt the smaller bins were unusable. It looks great and we are very happy with it. The bin is heavy so it does shut with force if you're not careful, but we don't have really little kids so that's not an issue. For the money it's a great buy."

"I was very pleased with the hamper. It really makes the laundry room look and feel organized and presentable, especially since the room is visible from the family room, kitchen and back entrance of the house. I would like it best if it was higher - table or counter height - for folding clothes. (We did add two small purchased bun feet to each of the existing feet to make it taller.) Other than that, it was a great purchase and the assembly instructions were easy to follow,"

"I am very happy with the Triple Tilt-out hamper. I am not a DIYer but I managed to put this together myself --in 3 days -- largely because the instructions were so clear. The Hazel Brown is a warm rich toned color. Reddish brown just like the picture. Very tasteful. It'a a handsome piece of furniture and would look good anywhere in the house. The box it arrives in is super super heavy so be prepared for that."

"I needed something in my laundry room so when I am washing clothes they are not on the floor waiting to be the next load. This piece is perfect. All pieces are solid wood and sturdy construction. It was easy to put together which was also nice since there were a lot of pieces.
The bins are a little small so a load of towels is a tight squeeze and if you have little ones be careful the bins do slam shut."

"this hamper looks so much like furniture! It is just what I wanted. I have it in the hallway outside of my bathroom. You can put something on the top such as pictures anything decorative; and you wouldn't know that it was a laundry hamper. I love it!"
