"The unit itself is quite nice but the assembly was difficult in that some of the screw holes were missing and my husband had to drill new one...but overall it is good but a tab pricey"

Great canvas Date: March 5, 2010
"I purchased the Hampton Bay Tilt-Out Hamper to use as a kitchen waste bin. This is not a standard 13 gallon bin, probably closer to a 10 gallon bin or smaller. I don't recommend this being used as a waste bin if you have a large family as it will fill up rather quickly.

The product itself is durable, sturdy and easy to clean. It took me less than an hour to put together. The instructions recommend that 2 people are needed to assemble, I did this alone while sitting on the floor. However, I do recommend you use a small battery powered drill with the appropriate attachments.

The plain design and attractive edges made this a great canvas. You can enhance the look by applying painted wooden appliques and metal decorative edgings for the corners. I have a custom looking trash bin at a great price.

"I really enjoy this addition to my laundry room. it looks nice and it is compact enough to fit in a small room. the dryer door opens over the top of it so it is not in the way. the 2 tilt outs look small at first pass, however they are roomy enough. Happy that I added this to my home."

Looks nice, but Date: February 8, 2010
"Difficult to put together, one piece was too big and had to be sawed to the correct length. One piece broken....so door doesn't tilt open correctly. I am going to call customer service, and hopefully they will send me replacement piece....interesting that they don't just throw in a few extra of the plastic pieces and screws just in case.....
It looks great.

Good item for right person Date: January 29, 2010
"This hamper is perfect for single person or empty nesters. I have purchased it twice for clients. The appearance is transitional and fits in most design styles.

Some issues to deal with. This one came with a back piece that was cut too long. So we took the one off ours and put it on our clients. Also it came with a ding at the edge of the top. Repair work was necessary. It needs to be packed a little more carefully.

The canvas fabric works well and this is a sturdy piece. It holds a couple of days of laundry in our house...probably a weeks worth for a single person.

Just a little more Quality control required.

Disappointment Date: January 21, 2010
"We were disappointed that bins did not center evenly in the front, leaving uneven gaps. The back panels were too short to reach the edges; therefore, the screws could be used to secure only one side of the panels."

2 toned white Date: January 20, 2010
"I think for the money, it is very over priced for what you get. The worst part was, you couldn't tell the hamper bins were a different color tone of white til you put it all together. Top, bottom, and dividers were a warm white and the bins are a gray white. Not happy about that at all."

"This hamper fit perfectly in the spot I bought it for. Keeps laundry separated and out of the way. Bins are okay size. Would have liked them to be a little larger. Overall, I really like this hamper. Definitely would recommend it to others. I"ve also gotten a lot of comments on it."

"My 19 year old daughter needed a new hamper in her bathroom. She received this for Christmas, put it together and it looks amazing in her bathroom. We purchased the white. Very attractive and love how the "laundry bags" are velcro'ed in for easy removal. Great product...we've always been happy with our Home Decorators purchases! Have made many of them!"

Single Hampton Bay Hamper Date: December 15, 2009
"This white single unit was easy to put together, I did it myself in about 1/2 hour, but I could see how the triple unit could take longer. I searched everywhere for a nice looking hamper to put in my very small laundry room, and finally found this online. I have a lamp on top for extra lighting and it looks great. Although some reviews have complained it is too small, I feel it does its job, but do wish it came a bit taller. The inner bag is 10"Wx10"Dx17"H, so keep that in mind when deciding to purchase. The white paint finish is nice and even, it is quite heavy and sturdy, and the price was good too. I love it, thanks!"

Not much room inside Date: December 15, 2009
"The look of this piece is nice and it fit perfectly in the space I wanted it for. However it does not have a whole lot of space inside each bin. It would have been better with just one bin instead of two. It holds less than a regular hamper."
