The Sunbrella fabric is produced from tough acrylic fibers, so it resists stains and mildew while maintaining its good looks. Sunbrella is manufactured using 100% solution-dyed yarns. The colors will not fade or wash out, remaining vibrant for years - even in the harshest sun. Our polyester fabric tends to be softer to the touch than the durable Sunbrella fabric. "These cushions were the perfect solution to my two year search for a reasonably priced, non-custom seat cushion for a set of now 25 year old Emu Chairs I have maintained beautifully. I just couldn't see spending the cost of a set of custom cushions that were worth more than the chairs themselves, whose design I love. I looked and looked and the choices were so dismal - until I found these at Home Decorators. The cushions are a perfect fit for not only these metal Emu Chairs, but also our teak chairs. I selected one of the lower priced fabrics rather than the Sunbrella - had I selected Sunbrella for $5 more each cushion I would have given these a "5" all around. The fabric I picked is perfect for
these chairs, excellent design pattern, my application didn't call for the durability of Sunbrella as these chairs get lighter use. This fabric will last for years as well. It is a bit more open in weave and textured compared to Sunbrella brand. If you have an application such as mine or like to change patterns with design trends every few years these cushions are very well made and a real bargin!"
