"The placemats looked to be of average to good quality. The colors pretty true to what was online. The only problem with the placemats is trying to remove the tag. I would like to use both sides of the placemat. The company used a sew in tag. When I cut or tear the tag you will see a small amount of white left over from the tag. I tried tearing another one thinking it would remove more of the white. My thinking was maybe the company has the tag perforated under the stitching for easy removal. I was wrong and tore the stitching right out of the placemat. This means I have to buy thread that matches to fix the problem. This also means that I have the choice to just use one side of the placemat or be bothered and embarrassed by the fact that you can see white on the reverse side. Not good planning on the part of Home Decorators or the manufacturers. The placemat has 2-sides and I believe most people would like to have the choice to use both sides. I decided to keep the set since it was a gift. I won't buy anymore from here because of this issue though. Something to consider before buying."

"I was excited to find a red/yellow tablecloth that would fit with our southwest color scheme. Unfortunately, the tablecloth, napkins, & placemats were pink and yellow! The colors reporesented both online and in the catalogue were not even close to what I received. I will be returning the entire purchase."

"These placemats washed beautifully and remained colorfast in hot water. They also have great workmanship with a stiffener piece of fabric sewn in the middle to help maintain shape!"
