"I was amazed by the delivery company that you guys use, they are very polite, brought the item (fully assembled in a box, very heavy) they took it downstairs, removed the box and wrapping and put it in the desired area, and they were happy to take the box and wrapping material with them. They made my life very easy..
The item itself is elegant, good workmenship, a solid piece of black stone on top, as described, no surprises , it gave that side of the room a formal appearance, pleasant to look at (in my opinion). All my guests were impressed. Thank you"

"This console looked more dark cherry and a brown distress on edges online. When it arrived, it appears to be more of a dark walnut painted on look. It is still beautiful, but not exactly what I expected."

it is a close match to our curio hutch.
THE GRANITE TOP is absolutely beautiful.
everyone is asking where we purchased it.
Also we decided to use it for our entertainment center. just needed to put vent holes in the back panel and keep the doors open during use

"Even more impressed with the console when it arrived. Better than in the photos. Excellent quality and the granite top is very nice. we are very happy with the purchase. Does not have openings for cables in the back. We had to cut holes in the back. Also we found that there is no ventilation inside the cabinet and our TV equipment (cable box, Xbox, DVD) gets very hot. We have to keep the doors open partially. Be prepared - this console is nearly 250 lbs. They delivered to the front door but we had to carry it in and dispose of the carton and Styrofoam. It would be worth it to pay extra for the inside delivery, set up and disposal."

"We are so impressed with the way this piece looks in our family room. We drilled a hole in the back to use it as a tv stand. The height is pefect. We didn't have any tape problems I read about in other reviews. They must have changed the type of tape used on the glass. The purchase, delivery, setup, and appearance is just what we wanted. Highly recommended by us!"

"Love this piece and we are using it as a tv console. Although the color is a little odd and not as rich looking as expected, it's a very functional piece. Some of the trim detail is slightly crooked and you can see where the granite top was glued underneath to the base, but the curved glass in the doors more than makes up for the rest."

"Well I purchased this a few months ago.The only thing good about this product is the packing.Terrible quality.The resen or mds board was cracking. It doest look like real wood.The granite was great but the glass doors has stain or streaks on it.I tried to clean it with denatured achol but didnt work. The cabinet doors did not even line up.Looks good from a distance.Real good customer service.I returned it with no problem.And it was on sale with free shipping.I couldnot imagine paying More.Eight hundred + wow.No way. They wanted to give it to me for way less.Not even two hundred dollars.Not even five bucks.I wouldn't keep it...Good luck"

"I ordered this console in November, 2010 and had to wait until January, 2011 to receive it, but it was well worth it. I have looked at several furniture stores for something similar and they all wanted more than double the price! This piece is exquisite looking in my living room just as I had hoped. It was well worth the wait! Also, the delivery system couldn't have been smoother! They called and scheduled and were right on time! Thanks again!!"

"The entryway table looks great. I really like the black granite countertop. The color is darker than the on-line picuture. It doesn't look like it is made out of wood but maybe resin but this is fine with me because I know for the price I paid I wouldn't get 100% wood and real carved wood.
Also, it wasn't damaged when I received it so I was very happy when I received it."

"I want to start out with the positive...this console was a good deal. It is relatively well made and I would have liked it except for one thing...THE COLOR IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAT THE WEBSITE. IT IS ALMOST BLACK. YOU DO NOT SEE ANY OF THE BEAUTIFUL WOOD AS YOU DO IN THE PICTURE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO SEND IT BACK SO I AM STUCK WITH IT. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I WOULD HAVE LOVED IT IF IT LOOKED LIKE THE PICTURE."

"This piece is gorgeous...good craftsmanship, beautiful wood & the granite top is lovely. Also, there is alot more storage capacity than the pictures imply. The ONLY qualm I had with the product was that the drawers didn't open as smoothly as I like, but easily remedied.
Highly recommend!"

"This is my first furniture purchase from Home Decorators. I purchased this console to use as a TV stand in a formal area of my home . I have purchased a lot of quality furniture pieces in my lifetime and this piece ranks with the best. I was pleasantly surprised at the exceptional quality of the wood and marble top. The picture on the website does not show the real beauty of this item. When it arrived I was also amazed that I was able to purchase this piece for the price listed. The only drawback is that it does not have an opening in the back to run my electrical cords, and it is not lighted."

"I had been looking at this console for years and finally purchased when on sale. The delivery was very fast and while the box was damaged, the piece was packed well enough not to have had any issues.
I purchased the Plymouth Brown and what I rec'd was more of a flat black. The style is beautiful but the finish on my piece was awful - very cheap looking.
Even considering the sale price (and free shipping), I do not feel that it was a good purchase for me."

"I am very satisfied with this purchase. For the price the piece is great. It is very stylish and the granite top just makes the piece.
The hardware is adequate, the finish is fine and the detail is just as I expected.
My unit is not painted"orange " inside as one reviewer said. It may not be soild wood but is just as lovely and as an accent piece is great.
Not sure what the other reviewers expected for this price. If you want hand carved detailed soild wood with custom stain then go pay what it would cost: $2,500. I shopped around and this piece is just as nice looking as a more expensive piece unless you are a perfectionist. It is very heavy and does not look like cheap mega box store furniture."
