"We have bought other pieces from Home Decorators in the past and have loved each one. This bookshelf is beautiful, easy to assemble, and of great quality. "The finished product looks good and is sturdy and functional. Assembly was very difficult because of the type of screws and the tool for turning them. The screws were large, size #14 x 1 1/4 ", and meant to be turned by a small 5/32" alan-head wrench. The force required stripped the screw heads. I would recommend a trip to the hardware store for the same size screws with a more common and easier-to-use phillips head. Once I did that, assembly was very easy."

"I found this shelf to be exactly what I was looking for. I put it together in about 30 minutes. Careful on the screws, I had 2 of them split the wood a little. I'm very satisfied with it."
