Rug with a definitive nap

"I ordered two for a large space. Laid side by side there is a definite nap to the rugs. One way the coloring is very dark, the other way it resembles the picture. Of course I didn't realize this until I laid the rugs and now have to move furniture again as the color difference is quite notable. These rugs shed, but otherwise are very pretty."

"Soft, thick, with vibrant colors. Mine is black/ivory and does not have fringe. Gorgeous even after five years by the front door. Don't be afraid to buy this light-colored rug."

"I searched multiple rug sites and loved the brilliant royal blue, ruby and gold shown on this Josephine rug. I even feared the colors might be too bright for my room, but I wanted something perky to go with my country and primitive-look.
The rug arrived and the colors were navy, maroon, brown and olive. It was drab and depressing, though of good quality. But when I explained to Home Decorator's, they sent a return label for it right away. I've had other great rugs from them before, but this one was disappointing. Don't trust the photographs or even the color names--royal blue was deep navy."

"The rug went into a room that is predominantly off whites so the deep rich color really centers the room and made the room appear larger. The rug is plush and I am really pleased. Due to a snow storm the rug was delayed on the delivery truck so it was cold and tight when it was delivered. I reversed it, rolled it back up and then walked on it to loosen it over the course of 2 days. This worked great and it laid flat when done. I do not believe it was the rugs fault, I think it was the extra nights in the freezing truck which was the weathers fault. Love it."

"Plush, Wonderful! the quality was fabulous! Terat your self, you will not regret this purchase. bought the runner in this color and bought the small black one to sit by the door. Buying a similar style in the two colors makes a lovely combination. I would buy this rug again, I was very impressed with the quality and it looks like I paid a ton for it! But I did not, fit into my budget and delivered a top notch oriental rug."

"I picked this rug because I wanted the brilliant colors featured in the online photo. What I received was very muted: browns & olives, with VERY little royal blue in the color scheme. Had to return it."

"The carpet came on time, and was gorgeous, with the colors showing the same as in the picture. The only problem was that the binding was tight and the rug curled up on one side for a few days until it finally relaxed. If it hadn't, the rug would have gone back."

"Such a shame... a beautiful rug, but colors are NOTHING like what is shown in photo. Rug colors are taupe/sage/beige/brown. No hint of the lovely pink/blue/vibrant colors as per photo. Had to return, what a shame. Great rug otherwise. Great customer service though, took the rug right back!"
