"The TV stand is very attractive and looks great in my room. The stain color and finish are very nice. I've priced TV stands recently and they are very expensive compared to this one. It was well-worth the price. It is just high enough and takes up just the right amount of corner space."

"The appearance and quality of wood is excellent, but the wardware has to be check and improve. The cam-lock are very cheap and weak and break with ease, the hinges are not the best for this piece, the 20 flat head screw were missing. It took long time to assamble such of little pieces because of the hardware."

Somewhat Disappointed

"The cabinet itself is very nice but it was advertised as being distressed white wood and it is not distressed.

There was also damage on the top and a crack in one of the louvers on one door.

We kept the piece because the tv covers the damage on top and once you get it all together it's too much trouble to take apart and then pay to ship it back.

I guess it's the price you pay for shopping online."

"There were several design and assembly issues that makes this a poor choice.

1 The Top piece would not fit over a molding on the front of the piece. I had to cut off 1/2 of the molding to make it fit down on the sides.
2. The pins in the cam lock system were not long enough for the cams to get a good hold. As such there was not good stability with theh piece.
3. The premarked holes for th hinge were not aligned properly and I had to drill new holes to get the doors attached.

If I had not gone to so much trouble getting it assembled I would have sent it back.

The piece is very attractive and will serve my purpose, but I would hope the factory would get their act together to get the kinks out of assembly."

"We purchased this stand because of it's size and color. We needed a small black cabinet that would fit in a corner in our home office and support a 50" Plasma TV. This cabinet does that nicely.

Assembly and clean up took almost 90 minutes, using a power screw driver. My wife made the job much easier by assisting when connecting the bottom and sides to the top. Whether it's a male or female connector or screw...all the hardware pieces need to be threaded or tightened into place... so again a power screwdriver makes the job a lot easier. Assembly although time consuming was straight forward because all the hardware is labeled so well...read the instruction...grap the proper hardware in it's well labeled bag and connect...it was that simple.

Our only complaint was that the top of the stand had a very large blemish on the right front corner. If we had purchased this TV stand at a mortar store we would have asked for another table as the blemish in the finish is that noticeably... However, when we considered the inconvenience of returning a 85lb. item...we got out the black paint and touched it up ourselves. The blemish did lower our opinion of the Table and buying experience, which would have been excellent had the Table been perfect."

"I ordered the corner television stand for a spare bedroom. It arrived in less than a week at my doorstep. My husband was able to put it together quickly. It looks good and is a solid piece of furniture. It is much better looking than anything I have seen in the stores. There is a lot of storage space in the cabinet. I think this was a good purchase. It is very solid."

"while the piece took over an hour to put together on my own, it has been worth it. i did not put on the doors because i wanted to display things on the shelves. it is heavy and sturdy and i placed small pieces of cardboard under the legs to lessen the dents in the carpet. the antique black is very smooth and chic. a couple of the locking mechanisms didnt turn smoothly but that may have been my fault during construction and the pins. the price of the piece itself may be a little bit high, but the shipping and freight charges and tax were ridiculous, adding about $80 to the total. if this piece survives our military moves itll definitely be worth it. also, it arrived quickly."

"A little difficult for the novice carpenter. Hard to manage putting the sides and base together. Make sure you don't tighten the cam bolts to tight as we did as they will not seat correctly into the cams. Other than that we are very pleased with the finished product. Looks great and doesn't reflect our lack of expertise. One would never know we put it together ourselves. Otherwise the workmanship is great and it was fairly easy to follow the directions, and, alll the parts were labeled well."

"We needed a small entertainment center to match our living room furniture (Black with louvered doors) and this piece was perfect! It is the right size to fit our wall and it is a perfect match to our existing pieces.
The product is well crafted and looks great when assembled. The hinges were a little hard to attach (two sets of hands were easier) and we replaced the door pulls with silver toned hardware to match our other furniture.
I would definitely recommend this item, we love it!"

"This item was chosen for it's unique styling, as t.v. stands are quite boring. The item arrived quickly as promised and my husband began the assembly which went well. I was needed for a bit of assistance with the doors to make sure they were on straight, but other than that it went quick and looks great. The quality is better than expected. It's hard to find the mid market pieces so were glad we discovered Home Decorators. We are so pleased with it, that we are seriously considering replacing all our worn out looking office furniture with the same style."

"The box came the same afternoon as the TV did, so assembly had to be fast. I laid all the packets out in alphabetical order, made sure all the parts were there, and started in. Had all the tools necessary, and found assembly pretty straighforward. It wasn't easy doing it alone, and would have been faster with two people, but it's manageable. Love the finished product."

"Although I dislike assembling anything, I am always willing to assemble furniture from Home Decorators. While other companies often give incomplete instructions, mislabeled or missing pieces, Home Decorators provides complete and accurate instructions. This furniture is quick to assemble, very sturdy, and looks as though it was purchased in a top-line furniture store."
