"We purchased the TV stand for our guest bedroom and it'll serve the purpose just fine. Not great, but just fine.
The main issue was for the price I wish we would have simply found something already assembled in a local furniture store.
Assembling the unit was difficult and some of the locking mechanisms which hold particular pieces of the unit together were a pain.
The cabinent doors are difficult to get set correctly. The magnets which hold the doors closed were slightly smaller than the pre-drilled nail holes making them difficult to put in place.
Overall, the unit is okay and looks good for a guest bedroom."

"This was a great purchase. Saw it online first and then had it shipped to the store. It is beautiful and although we have not put it together yet we think it will be moderately easy. We actually bought two which we know will look great in our beach condo and the style will really add to the beach look."

"It took about 2-1/2 hours with the help of two neighbors. Not complicated, but tedious. Be sure to follow the directions. The result is beautiful, worth the effort. It looks just like the picture."

"I absolutely love this TV stand. It looks great and fits perfectly in the space. I love the shelves inside, although it would have been helpful if there were holes to run wires through the back, otherwise it's absolutely perfect. it wasn't too hard to put together, but did require the help of a second person."

"Exactly what we needed for the corner placement of the TV. Looks good. Only problem was that the doors had holes for magnetic latches drilled incorrectly. Replacement doors were sent."

"cam bolts do not align and tighten properly. Had to pin nail it together with a finish nailer. Looks nice when done, but cheaply engineered."

"I had 2 experienced guys put this together for me- (both experienced in carpentry.) The problem with the tv stand was that the predrilled holes were not installed properly by the manufacturer. It caused a problem putting it together. The metal pieces kept stripping as a result. Fortunately we had an extra drill and some screws to do it ourselves. I was dissappointed that the quality was not good and it took long to fix the problem. We could've sent the piece back to Home Deocrators but we needed it done."

"Our home is filled with beautiful furniture so we weren't sure if this would be amazing quality or just so-so. After 3 hours of assembly - yes 3 - we have received nothing but compliments on this great stand. it could easily be something from a nicer store, but the very low price was well worth the hassle of assembling it. great product!"

Be careful installing cam bolts

"Instructions for installing cam bolts and cams were not good resulting in damage to one of the shelves before I figured it out. The instructions caution you to make sure the cam bolts are tight before installing the cams. They do not need to be as tight as the example in the diagram. If they are, you risk damaging the shelves. Start out a little loose on the bolts. You can always remove the cams and tighten the bolts up a little if need be."

"The cabinet itself is just what they described, but when it came, the top was damaged. I must say they were prompt about shipping out another top - but it came damaged too and then they shipped a third - yep! it was damaged too! So not sure I would try them again."

"Ordered this after looking at so many styles. It is a substantial piece and looks really nice in my bedroom. My daughter was home from college and put it together in about 2 hours. "Very impressed with how great this cabinet looks. It was relatively easy to put togther. I would definitely recommend having a drill handy though! Lots of screws! Compared to other stands I've seen in this price range it's definitely more "expensive" looking than others I found."

"The item was larger then measured in the catalog. It was a little intimidating to put together. But once I got started, it was very simple. Everything is plainly labeled. I totally enyoy my piece of furniture. I would order again. And it was even lower in price than the sale price in the catalog. I am very pleased with my selection."

"This corner cabinet is very substantial, attractive and easy to assemble. The first one I ordered was seriously damaged in shipping and the return was very easy - UPS picked up at my front door & another one arrived a day or two later in perfect shape. I would highly recommend this cabinet"

"While the finished product looks great I was extremely disappointed in the packaging. When my wife and I opened up the box 7 of the pieces were damaged. I know it's made out of pressed wood, but I felt the number of chips, cracks and dents were unacceptable. We contacted Home Decorators and they did issue us a nice credit. Luckily for us none of the damage was on the front or outside of the unit so once we put it together it looked great and was exactly what we wanted in our bedroom."
