Frustration
Sooo disappointed
Date: January 23, 2010
"Received the cabinet and found that there were two of part A and no part B. Ordered the replacement part; finally received it. Tried to continue assembly and found that the holes for the base of the cabinet were not in the right place so the sides would not fit on the base. Also was missing a cam-bolt. Am sending the whole thing back. A very, very frustrating experience."

"Needed something to fit under a window-loved the glass doors-not hard to put together-looks nice and for the price, good workmanship. I added a glass top to protect it, since its in a bathroom. Looks much better than a cabinet I returned to Overstock. SImple nice detail."

Love This Cabinet
Date: January 6, 2010
"I purchased this product for my newly remodeled bathroom. It was delivered sooner than stated and that was plus #1. I am a 48 year old woman and I had no problem putting this together by myself. It is sleek, clean and practical. It looks great in my bathroom!"

"This is a great cabinet for the money. I have it in our little bathroom to store towels and supplies. Fairly easy to assemble and looks great. I bought a similar one a couple of years back from Home Decorators that served me well."

Nice piece, pain to put together
Date: October 12, 2009
"In the end, the piece looks very nice, but it took a long time to put together, and some parts although doable with one person, would have been much easier with 2 people. Also, the tiny hinge screws stripped easily, and I needed to replace a few with larger screws."

tons of assembly
Date: September 30, 2009
"I am very pleased with this product, but it literally came in about 300 little pieces that you put together piece by piece. I took me about 3 hours nonstop to put together and I was sweating pretty well by the time I was done."

Nice Value

"I purchased this cabinet to use in my dining area to store all my children's pen, pencils, scissors, crayons, markers etc... So far, it works perfectly and I was able to free up two drawers in the kitchen. It looks so much better than the old plastic rolling storage bins that we used to use. Everything arrived in good condition and I had no problems with assembly."

Good Value And Good Looking
Date: August 25, 2009
"This cabinet looks more expensive than the price would indicate. The top is substantial with very nice detailing. The white painted finish is smooth and even. We liked the fact that the glass in the doors is tempered as we are using this cabinet in a bathroom. My husband and I found it simple to assemble by following the well written instructions. The cabinet arrived with all required parts neatly labeled and packaged making it easy to do an inventory. There was a tiny area of damage to one of the doors, but I touched it up with white paint. We thought that the door knobs provided were a bit dinky, so we replaced them with larger chrome ones."

Absolutely Worthless
Date: August 4, 2009
"Package arrived quickly and easily. That was nice. All the parts were there. That was nice. Began assembly. Things went well right up until it came to putting on the doors.
The doors...were the wrong size. They didn't fit. Not even close. A full inch too large. I took the entire thing apart, went back over the instructions, then put it back together again, just in CASE I was being an idiot. I'm a private contractor, but even the pros can make a mistake. Nope. Wrong size doors. They wouldn't fit IN or OUTSIDE of the framing for them. By then the hinges were stripped from being removed and replaced in the compression board, so I ended up having to cut, and glue and drill to make the thing work.
It's a shame, too, because I wanted to order other items from the company's catalog for my very empty new house, but if THIS is any indication of their workmanship and planning, I think I'll give my money to someone else.
Worthless...worthless...worthless."

Great find
Date: May 15, 2009
"I was searching the internet for a small linen cabinet to fit in a small bathroom. The only cabinet that I could find was the one on your web page that fit all our dimensions. It was exactly what I was looking for in workmanship, appearance and practicality. My husband and I had no problems putting it together. Everything was well marked and the instructions easy to read for novices like ourselves. I really can't come up with a negative comment, because for the price and usefulness it met all our needs. We give your product two thumbs up!"

Even a chick can put it together
Date: December 29, 2008
"I bought two of these in the natural finish to use as nightstands in my bedroom, and I'm extremely pleased with the quality, style and value.
I agree with the gentleman who says you need a toolkit (I started with a Phillips screwdriver and then resorted to a power drill), but otherwise, assembly was pretty quick and easy. Attaching the hinges to the doors and the doors to the side panels was kind of dicey without a second set of hands to help position the pieces in place; but otherwise, I'd say pretty much anyone can assemble this furniture, even a 60 yr old chick.:)
The hardware holes on the various pieces were very well aligned; the parts were well identified, and the instructions were crystal clear.
On the first cabinet I assembled, I tightened a cam bolt too much and cracked the plastic insert it screwed into. This made one of the side panels unusable.
I called Home Decorators' Parts Department and told their rep what had happened and he promptly shipped me a replacement for the side panel, NO CHARGE. Since I hadn't lied to him by saying the part was "defective" in order to get the new part free, I now feel totally comfortable that I'm not taking a gamble when I buy assemble-it-yourself furniture from HD."
