"These blinds are great! They have a very nice appearance, and are so easy to install and use. The only thing I am disappointed about is the amount of light they let through during the day if they are closed-I thought being double cell they would do a little better than they actually do. But overall they were a great purchase!"

"THe blinds were delivered right on time. I had to wait a week till I had someone help put them up.
Then the trouble began. I had ordered 3 23 inch blinds and all 3 were to be hung side by side over a large window with 3 secions. However I was totally dismayed to find that each window only measured 22 7/8 inches wide and times 3 that left a gap between each blind. If the blinds had been exactly 23 inches it would have been perfect and certainly would have looked better.
However, we did hang them as it was my only opportunity to have someone help me hang them (I am a senior citizen). The blinds are top quality, but I was disappointed that the size was incorrect."

"I ordered 2 sets of honeycomb blinds. The first went up like a dream. The second we had a problem with. It was broken. I called and was told that another would be in the mail right away. I'm still waiting for the second blind to come (it's only been a week), but was satisfied with the response so far."

"1. Vendor shipped wrong size color product.
2. HDC website innacurately reflects product specifications. Top Rail color mismatches main shade.
3. Overall time from purchase to recieving correct product was nearly a month.
4. One highlight, Customer service was excellent, but lacked control over vendors.

"Dual-cell shades rec'd after several weeks delay - no explanation given from the mfr. Fit and color are very good, though I was a little disappointed to see that the color specified was only applied to the interior side of the shade - the side facing the exterior was white. Also, included screws I thought were a little short; I used longer ones from my own supply to get more "bite" as my shade was slightly heavier because of its size.
Otherwise, am happy with the item."

immediately admitted to the error in the website,
and gave me full credit, so that I could reorder,

"We purchased these blinds 3 years ago for our livingroom windows. Last year, we bought them for the rec room. We absolutely LOVE them!! Now we did all the other rooms in the house. They are super easy to install, lightweight, act as an insulator, and super easy to keep clean. The price was excellant. Visitors always comment on them. Best bang for your buck!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this blind. Heavy duty and better than the ones I purchased from Blinds For Less a few years ago. They look like custom blinds. Installation was a snap for my husband but he is pretty handy. My only con is that it is ever so slightly uneven and probably only noticeable by me. I would like for it to be a tad(1/4 to 1/2 in) longer and even ordered slightly longer but I'm thinking it may stretch slightly with time. Overall great purchase that I would buy again."

"Well made but instructions for assembly were included with only one of my house full of double honey combed shades. Unfortunately, it was wrapped with the very last shade installed so we had a learning curve with the first one installed. I took great pains to provide a unique label for each shade when ordering (as I was instructed to do). The label was not attached to the individual shades so I had to figure out which shade went to which window. Since each window was a different size, this took a while. Also the superior and interior metal supports were not color coordinated with the actual pleated shade and are very noticeable in my off-white trimmed windows."

"We've ordered Home Decorator brand honeycomb blinds before, for other rooms, and were very pleased with their quality. However, our recent order surprised us by being quite a bit different mechanically (they were cordless and all the inside parts were covered in plastic, and did move as smoothly as our previous order) and the bottom looked unfinished. The strings were visible and knotted at the bottom, where the previous order had a finishing piece at the bottom to hide the strings. They said they haven't changed manufacturers, but I'm having them look into this."

"Great honeycomb shades - perfect fit and arrived quickly. My only criticism is that the directions are written poorly. Luckily, we have installed similar shades in the past but we still encountered some difficulties. Otherwise, these are an excellent value."

"I needed something to block the morning sun, but not keep the light out. These shades are effective and attractive. They are honeycombed so they insulate against heat coming in now and cold coming in later in the year. They go up and down easily. (I chose the inexpensive cord option)"
