"You go online and think hey.. 20% off on like almost all of these designs? I'm in. Unfortunately, even with that mark-off, you're still getting the lowest degree of blinds or shading possible.
Anyway, the biggest issues I had we were with the stability and material. I was expecting something that didn't feel like balsa (even smells like it too). The instructions are clear, except for the center supports. There is nothing to tell you where, how deep, or that you will likely have to adjust a few times to get that support correctly placed.
The valance clips that TWIST into the valance stay as soon as you twist them, but the 6 or so you put on your blind are loose as it gets, making the lining up of things hard to manage.
The shutter controls (for when the blinds are down) are very stiff and you feel like you're breaking something as you use them.
And your online status says "shipping" for the longest time, even right after you place your order so you have no idea when it should arrive. Ours arrived late, almost a week after the promised date.
I would avoid and see if you can get some sort of price match on someone who actually does this for a living, instead of some factory."

"Blinds weren't cheap, but they are a quality product. I would purchase them again and recommend them to others. Installation is pretty simple, but the valance attachment was a little tricky."

"I ordered one set of blinds to make sure they really looked right, and then ordered the remaining 7. They were priced considerably lower than the same brand at any of the local stores. Shipment in both cases arrived before the estimated arrival date. Instructions for measuring and installing were clear and the results are very satisfactory."

"I have now purchased 6 of these faux wood blinds for my mountain home. They are high quality and extremely easy to install. They are up in 10 minutes each with a stepladder and a drill. They add a lot to the decor and are excellent to hold back solar gain in the mountains. I like the light colors, as the darker wood grain stains really show the dust and static makes it hard to remove. The lighter colors you don't notice that."

"These are my second set of Bali Faux Wood blinds that I have purchased and I am very, very happy. They are shipped so fast and the made to order sizes are perfect. The Bali blinds look fabulous from the outside as well as indoors. I plan on purchasing the rest of my blinds from Home decorators since they do a wonderful job!"

"Beautiful blinds, well made, easy to install. Pay attention to inside vs outside mount if your space is at all restricted. I ordered outside mount as I installed outside the window frame, but space was restricted on one side which made the valance too wide and I could not use the returns. It was my error for not considering the space."

"The custom blinds I ordered were delivered promptly and exactly what I ordered.Installation was very easy and quick,I had 2 sets installed in less then an hour.I have installed quite a few "store" bought blinds that I had to do the trimming and fitting and removeing excess blinds,,etc.etc.What a breeze it is when they are fit to the window,,,and look great too!!!"
