"Bought 2 and love them!!! It looks as good as ones in the hotels. Using it in our small guestroom with queen bed so now I don't need bedside tables to hold reading lamps. Make sure that you check the measurements to ensure you have enough room for the wall install and that the size of the lampshade will work in your space. I did not do this and thank goodness it fit well. My husband said the install was fairly easy. Use a 3 way bulb."

"Harp was a little short causing the shade to be too low and it was brass rather than the oil rubbed bronze of the rest of the lamp, but will eventually replace and it will be fine. Lighter than expected (weight). All in all, it looks great up and love the light it gives off and the feel of the light in the room."

"I ordered 2 lamps and the cord covers to go over a large sectional where I had no room for any other kind of lamps. I LOVE them! My granddaughter, who is an interior designer, wanted to know who I had professionally install them...they look that great!"

"Thought I was buying something made from heavy gauge metal, like brass. This was more like tin...flimsy, easily dented, not worthy of my client's home or lifestyle. Sometimes you can get a real bargain at HDC. This is not one of them, unless you're willing to settle for second best (or even less). If the execs are reading...here's my list for---Additional improvements: 1) Full-range dimmer is a very practical requirement...not just for ambiance, it saves energy too; 2) Q.C. is a MUST for a wall mounted lamp...for example, the arm on both lamps we received was crooked on the base; 3) Make the shade purchase optional...if you really want to provide service to interior decorators, then realize that we will probably buy lamp shades separately, to customize the look within the room."

"I purchased this lamp for a narrow corner space between a recessed bookshelf and the sofa so that I could sit and read without needing an end table.

"I am a professional builder and I have purchased and installed literally thousands of lighting fixtures during my 30 year career.. my normal venue is Lowes because it is so easy to return something if I dont like it. I purchased this antique gold tone wall light because there was no local selection. This is the second one of this type I have purchased.. they are packed incredibly well, come with 3 way switches which is a feature of higher end lamps, and the construction is solid and the shades are of good quality also.. You will like this gold tone if you like a textured finish, which I do, and it is understated so it will blend with just about any decor."

"I purchased two of these. I only ended up opening one package, immediately resealing it after I took a look at the light, and sent them back the next business day. I was hoping for that "good deal," where price and quality meet up. They were definitely inexpensive, but also poorly made, or rather made out of flimsy material. Either my husband or I would have ended up breaking them when trying to use the swing arm feature, it felt so cheap. I ended up buying a more expensive sconce from a different store. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is that Home Decorators customer service was excellent. They immediately authorized a refund as soon as they received the lamps back. Thank you!"

"We installed one on both sides of our master bedroom headboard. Did not use the flimsy wall anchors that came with the lamps, substituted anchors that were more substantial with good results. Installation was simple. Nice appearance and good reading light. Great value."

"The lamp looked just perfect however, in order to get the arm to move you had to fight with it - which resulted in the paint finish cracking. I think I can repaint it with spray paint but that shouldn't be my job."

"I bought two of these in brushed nickel with silvery shades and two in oiled bronze with sage shades. Both sets are perfect for the bedside tables in our master bedroom and guest room. They are simple and elegant. Easy to adjust. And I especially like the fact that they use 3-way bulbs. Great find!"

"Bought two of these swing arm lamps and am impressed with the value. Not too hard to install, but very different finishes than pictured. I actually preferred look of lamps I received to what was pictured (was actually darker and very different finish than pictured) but that may not be the case with future buyers."

"I been looking for a new swing arm for over my bed and found this one and and best price I found (on sale) and shipping was fairly quick and seems to be a well made lamp. I mounted mine a little differently because I didn't want to do touch up paint and it came out great in my opinion...."

"I was extremely disappointed with this lamp. I like the way it looks but the design is extremely poor, leaving the lamp almost unusable. There is a mounting bracket with 2 bolts sticking out that you attach the lamp to. The bolts are too short, I can only screw the cap onto one of them. The other bolt doesn't stick out enough to attach the finished screw cover. Therefore, the lamp cannot stay tight to the wall. To top it all off, this was a replacement!! The original model we purchased had the screw holes drilled offset and would have left the lamp base crooked. Overall, beautiful product but useless."
