"The credenza looks great and we are very happy with it - but only because of "custom" work I had to do. Over 2 years ago and several times since, people have complained of misaligned hinges. A reputable company such as Home Dec should have had this problem corrected, but to date still has not done so. This is really a shame because an average non-skilled buyer would have great difficulty correcting the problems without leaving a visible cosmetic defect."

Initial assembly of the case came out perfectly square.
The pre-drilled hinge holes for the far left and right doors were incorrect causing the door top
to be high, preventing closure. I solved the problem by drilling new hinge holes in the two

"It was difficult to put together. Helps a lot if you have an electric screwdriver. Directions were fairly easy to follow though. Quality good. I put it in a baby room and it looks great!"

"I put this piece together by myself...I usually get my son or husband to help. It went together fairly simply. Takes some time,but I thought everything fit together well. It was just the right piece for my sewing room, for storage and I put the flat screen TV on it. The price was great , I thought,and delivery was fast. The doors are a bit dated, but it was just right for what I used it for."

"Piece lived up to it's online description and photo. Packaged very well -- no damage upon arrival. Provides generous storage while maintaining a relatively slim profile. "I love my new sideboard! I wish they had the 6-door version in black at the time I ordered.
The assembly manual is straight-forward, the only thing that made it a challenge to assemble was the misplaced pre-drilled whole for one door-lock. I had to make new ones once the sideboard was almost completely assembled.

"This credenza ended up being the perfect piece for what we needed. I wanted something along the stairs in my living room to put games and toys (for our soon-to-arrive baby) in where they would be accessible but out of sight. This fits perfectly, and is the perfect piece for what we needed!
It did take my husband a while to put together, but it was mainly because there are just a lot of parts. We did run into a few of the spacing issues with the doors, but it was only two of them, and we switched them out, and they lined up a little better. You can't tell at all just looking at it now.
Once it was together, I was afraid it wasn't going to hold all our games that had taken up an entire long top shelf in our upstairs gameroom closet, but we were able to fit all the games in just one side of it. It holds way more than it looks like.
I bought it with a coupon and free shipping, which made it an even more valuable deal for us. It arrived quickly, and we were able to enjoy it within a week of ordering. We love it!"

"I love the color (warm walnut) and love the doors. I have received compliments already. I bought this for a playroom to store games. It looks great. The only thing wrong is the space between the doors. I am not a perfectionist so it doesn't bother me. I would recommend the unit."

"We are using this credenza at our office. I was not aware that the black finish has a touch of red showing through the wood. It looks nice but be aware that it has a distressed look. We placed it under our LCD TV and are using it as our coffee pot station. I would definitely recommend this product."

"Credenza took four hours to put together! Quality of the backing is cheap. Credenza has only five legs which is a odd design.
