"This desk is cute and a great size for my small office. I bought it to replace a smilar Crate & Barrel desk (that cost about the same) that unfortunately was broken when we moved.
This desk arrived with pink stains in the bottom part of the drawers and a slight crack in one leg. The whole thing is bulky to repackage and we ultimately decided to keep it. The drawers feel a bit cheap and I wasn't overly impressed with the quality. But, for the price it will do its job and looks nice in my office space."

"Loved the desk! Bought it for my daughter in college. The two of us put it together by ourselves in a couple hours. Ended up changing out the drawer pulls to make it look more vintage. Liked it because it doesn't "scream" desk and it can be used as a sofa or entry table down the road. Would be very easy to remove shelf for a table look later. Much heavier and solid than I expected for the price."

"This desk had good instructions, EXCEPT for one part. It did not indicate which direction to put the side legs on and as a result I had to disassemble much of the desk when I got to the end and realized that the holes for the shelves were in the wrong place. You definitely want to use an electric screw driver for this project. Other than that I am very pleased with the finished product. The desk is the perfect size for our small den and the shelves underneath provide a place for baskets that can hold anything from papers to junk-drawer paraphernalia."

"I had been searching for a not-too-expensive-or-big white desk for awhile, although I also definitely wanted the desk to be substantial in feel and appearance -- NOT cheap-looking. This desk is exactly what I wanted! It is extremely sturdy (nearly all solid wood), pretty (fits perfectly with my eclectic decorating style), and functional (you can easily work with a laptop and lots of papers at it). The little shelf underneath is a nice bonus. Absolutely unbelievable for the price!"

"The desk definitely looks like more than the investment level, and I appreciate how sturdy it is. I put it together myself - no assitance and it was fine, except for a couple of mis-aligned drill holes - not that bad to deal with. I really like this paint finish ~ it doesn't seem prone to scratching at all!"

"This desk has the look of the more expensive desks from Crate and Barrel. The glossy white finish is beautiful and the desk is the perfect size! The only reason i didn't give it a 5 star rating is because the drawers are a little flimsier than the more expensive models, but for half the cost, I'll live with it! I'm very pleased with the purchase and everyone that walks in and sees it raves and wants to know where I got it."

"I purchased this desk for a sewing desk that also had to fit into our guest bedroom. It's a perfect size - enough room for my machine and equipment, but doesn't over power the room. It was relatively easy to assemble and I am delighted with its' sturdiness. The lower shelf holds baskets of supplies, and with the 2 small drawers for threads, scissors, etc., it fits my needs perfectly. It's also very attractive - I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. I have one disappointment, and that is the bottom of the drawers isn't as sturdy as I would wish. Also, one piece of the underside of the shelf was damaged when I received it, but I was able to wood glue and screw it to maintain the integrity of the desk."

"This desk serves our purpose perfectly. I needed a desk for my home based business that would allow for a bit of storage without looking cluttered because it's in a very central room of our home. I added a few wicker baskets to the shelf below and everything can be easily tucked away when necessary. It's a very sturdy desk (my handy husband assembled it without any trouble but did use his own screwdriver for faster assembly) and the drawers slide easily and fit well into the desk."

"Originally I bought the matching Oxford three drawer filing cabinet first and loved it so much I decided to junk all my current office furniture and replace it with the matching desk and 4 door credenza. I absolutely love the look of this desk. It looks expensive, feels expensive and went together fairly easy. I put it together myself in under 1 1/2 hours for each piece.

"I purchased this for my 8 year old, and I do not anticipate needing to purchase her another desk as she gets older. Large workspace and plenty of storage. The small hutch fits perfectly on top for extra storage space and does have a place to secure it (which is not mentioned in any of the product information)."
