"I really like the looks of this file cabinet. I bought 3 of them in black and they really look expensive even though they are not.

"We are downsizing, needed file cabinet to hold our many genealogy folders. Purchased this to go in our master closet, as it was the only white one I could find. It goes perfectly with the dresser and shelves that are in the closet. I also think that when we sell the house, it could be used as drawer space if not needed for files. My husband put it together by himself, did not need 2 people as recommended, and it did not take overly long. Everything went together smoothly. The only con was the smell of paint(?) that lingered in the closet for several days. We started leaving the door open, and it dissipated after a few days. Would also have liked a sturdier bottom for drawer, but I think it will hold lightweight items. We even put a few extra folders along the sides. Will see how well they hold up."

"Quite pleased when the file cabinet arrived in a timely fashion just before the holiday. Unfortunately the bottom of one of the drawer pieces was damaged -broken it appears when the parts were packed at the factory. This was not a transit issue! My dilemma was that the large number of pieces were spread about my family room and I didn't want to rebundle for return nor wait a week for a replacement part to arrive!!!
I taped the damaged piece and assembled the cabinet with the damaged part as the floor of the bottom drawer.
Questions: Why are the drawer bottoms made from cardboard when the rest of the piece is true wood?
Why use cheap glue to paste the letter stickers on the pieces? Some of these were on the sides that show, (contrary to the instructions!) and one left a mark on the front of the cabinet"

"The wood seems to be very high quality and it was not too difficult to construct, however, I had several screws with slag in the tops that made it impossible to use them! I had to go out and purchase additional screws to finish assembling the product, which was very frustrating. There was a bag labeled 'spare parts' but unfortunately there were no extra screws! After finishing assembly, the drawers seem to sit low in the cabinet space with a gap showing above the top. Overall, this is a nice looking piece, but the damaged screws/lack of spare screws and the drawers not fitting well would lead me to not recommend this product."

"My husband wanted a file cabinet that would look nice next to his antique wood desk. We saw this one online and it looked great, but with the price being so reasonable, we were skeptical about the ultimate quality. When it arrived, my husband was shocked at how well it was packaged and at the quality of the wood. My husband is not easily impressed by and has had many hazardous experience with "assemble it yourself" products... but this went as smoothly as possible. A great, heavy piece that looks exactly as pictured when it's all put together. I can't recommend this product enough. If you're looking for a wood file cabinet- this one is IT."

"This filing cabinet is exactly what I wanted. It was difficult to find the 3 drawer size in a furniture style cabinet. The assembly was challenging as the drill holes for attaching the hardware to the drawer were improperly placed."

"The only negative to this were the cheaply made screws and bolts...All the big pieces of wood were delivered without any scratches or dents- nice solid pieces! Only complaint were the components to assemble them, with such strong pieces of wood and considering how much the files will weigh inside of them you want the hardware to be sturdy and hold!"

"The cabinets are exactly what I was looking for. They are sturdy and modern looking with a classic feel. I bought two in white to slide in under a built in desk. It brought my home office together and finished it off with the exact look I was going for. I put both the cabinets together in about 2 hours. My only complaint is that with both cabinets the hardware for the draw slides and the pre-drilled holes in the draw did not line up exactly on one of the drawers. It worked out since two of the screws did line up and just the third one did not. It was still sturdy enough. Love this product!"
