"Though easy to assemble, it was, nevertheless, time-consuming. Additionally, for my nearly 70 years, it's size and weight (close to 90 lbs) made the delivered package difficult to maneuver. However, when assembling one piece at a time, it was quite easy and no single piece was too heavy to deal with. None of the hardware was missing; all holes were properly placed and aligned; and the instructions were clear enough to follow without difficulty. The only exception to this was the back, where, instead of wood, the backing is a heavy cardboard, and no holes in either the board nor cabinet are predrilled (I drilled my own). This allows for adjustment of the front doors, so they can be aligned evenly and held in place by the way the back is positioned. Once aligned, the back can be permanently screwed in place, thus holding the front in alignment. Rather clever! Since I use this for my computer and printer, I drilled a 1-1/2" hole in the back, through which I pass my electrical cords to the outlet. This worked out perfectly. The finished product is a beautiful piece of furniture, and the only complaint I have is the "key" which passes through two "eyes", holding the front doors closed. It looks nice, but it's very imprarctical if you're in and out of the cabinet several times a day. Not only will you eventually scratch the backplate, but it becomes annoying after awhile. They ought to come up with a more practical closure. All in all, though, a winning piece of furniture! It's substantial and looks great!!"
