"the light looks very nice, but whoever designed it didn't have a clue what they were doing. it is impossible to keep it upright once assembeled. my husband had to literally screw it into the floor to anchor it. it is now a permanent part of our living room. there is no counter-balance to the 4 heavy glass lights . wonder why it would tip?!"

Perfect Corner Lamp

"Separate 2 1/4" shades fit beautifully with no hassles. I had a dark corner in my family room, and this lamp solved the problem. I needed a lamp that would go behind a corner-unit sofa. The lamp base is low enough to fit under the back, and the four arc-lights are high enough for a person of normal height to easily walk under when taking a seat. Now I can read in my comfy, well-lit corner spot. Also, the dimmer is great for creating a romantic mood."

"Our family room did not have any overhead lighting and we didn't want to ruin the ceiling by doing so. Now we have some very decorative but very useful lighting. It is important to know that this does not include the lamps - and if you live in California that Home Decorators will not ship any leaded art there. However, shop around online - I was able to get some really nice ones."

"This lamp looks really nice in our living room. We have gotten many compliments on it. HOWEVER, it was a pain to put together. We needed to hunt for a different sized screws in order to hang the shades. I would not recommend purchasing this lamp unless you are patient and a fixer."

"It was quite a shock to discover that the shades were not included with the lamp, even though when I checked back, it did say so in the small print. They should not have shown them in the picture in that case, but had them separately with a note that said "sold separately", then I certainly would not have chosen this lamp!"

Arc Floor Lamp Assembly

"The arc floor lamp is a really neat looking floor lamp that could be put in the corner of my dark office and provide extra light overhead. The assembly was not hard however; when trying to install the tiffay style shades, most of the screws on the base were stripped and or did not work. I still have one lamp that has not been attached because I will have to find larger screws due to the stripping and one shade only has two screws holding it on. Poor workmanship with the shade attachments."

"I wanted something to fit a dark corner over a sectional. This does the trick - nice with the tiffany shades. "Bronze" is a little cheap looking, but it doesn't really show that much - eye is drawn to the pretty shades."
