"My biggest complaint is the directions are not clear and in some cases in error. You have to really take your time and double check everything during assembly. However all of the parts were there and went together well. The final product is solid and looks good. The drawers stick when opening at the halfway point and you have to really push to get them closed flush with the cabinet but they may loosen up in time. Other than that it is satisfactory."

Not Easy to Assemble Properly!

"This would have gotten a higher rating from me had it assembled better. I had some difficulty with this piece and I have assembled lots of furniture. Things didn't line up very well and the end product is a little wobbly. I would not recommend to a friend."

"Sturdy. Like bottom shelf. Read assembly directions very carefully, and be sure you id left and right pieces, and top/bottom, etc. Assembly went well otherwise. Pieces fit, all parts were there. Heavy piece. Assemble where you want it to be."

8 drawer oak file cabinet- Assembly...

"FYI--I called to check on exactly what" one hour assebmly required" meant, havintg been misled before with products orderd from catalogues. The representative had no idea about the product and just restated the 'One hour" information.
I went ahead and orderd it based on the "one hour" wording.
Two boxes showed up and you need to know, it is "Complete Assembly required" which took 5 hours to complete. Directions were clear and easy, Make sure you have an electric drill. The depth of the drawers are not as deep as regular office file cabinets. Over all the craftsmanship is very nice quality."
