"My son and daughter-in-law put this together. It took them several hours. Several of the tabs that hold in the glass were broken but we were able to glue them back into place.
This was exactly what I was looking for. It looks great.

"The overall quality is good except the doors do not close all the way because the screw heads are too tall. Mounting hardware required modification to get the doors to hang correctly. Very nice pieces for the money but assembly for experts only."

Perfect for my dining room
Date:March 9, 2010
"The Mission Glass-Door Lowboy is the perfect addition to my dining room. This buffet table with the 3 doors is a great size for storing my glass vases and glasses that I wanted to display, while also serving as a buffet table to hold dishes so I don't have to load up my dinner table. The black finish is beautiful and elegant. It was relatively easy to assemble. The glass doors were a little challenge, but nothing too difficult. The wood is solid, high quality, and georgeous. Thank you Home Decorators!"

"True to description and picture. Once assembled (a bit tricky), it looks like a classic piece of furniture. Good quality but not ornate or super fancy. I would recommend this if you need something simple to add to a room."

Great piece of furniture
Date:February 8, 2010
"My husband is a hobby carpenter, or this would have been difficult for me to put together myself, but I could have done it. We both feel the quality of this is excellent compared to similarly priced items in other stores. The color is true to what it was shown in the catalog. We are very happy with it and would recommend it to others."

"This is a great addition to our kitchen. I have been looking for something like this for our china to be displayed in. I had not found anything I liked in the stores. I also wanted something priced relatively low. I have been looking at the piece on home decorators for about 6 months and just recently they offered free shipping on it. I could not pass it up. Some of the reviews said it was hard to put together. My husband is fairly handy so we did not worry too much about it. My husband was able to put it together by himself in about an hour and a half. His only complaint was the instructions weren't very clear. We love our new addition, it looks great and is exactly what we were looking for."

Great Deal
Date:February 3, 2010
"I purchased the Mission Glass Door Lowboy for my dining room. It's a small room and didn't have the space or the money for a full size hutch. I lucked out with the pricing big time and free shipping - how can you go wrong! I ordered it on a Monday and had both boxes by Saturday. My husband expressed some frustration with how some of the parts/holes lined up and he needed my help to hold some things together on one end while he worked on the other end. I thought the Honey color would be more golden but it's more brown. I have light colored furniture which is very difficult to match these days but on the whole I am very pleased with this piece, the color is not that far off from my dining table. I thought I would cover the glass with clear contact paper or spray a frost on it so you can't see through it but I have a grass-weave basket that fits perfectly and looks great through the window-makes a nice accent. I think I will buy 5 more baskets to store all my stuff. It's a very sturdy piece, great looking and I will definitely buy from here again. I am looking for a bookcase next and will keep looking for that free shipping offer."

looks great, not easy to assemble
Date:January 20, 2010
"When all is said and done, we love this piece of furniture and it looks exactly as we hoped it would. However, delivery was less than ideal: they said 10-4 and showed up at 5, when we were not able to be home, even though I'd specifically mentioned that they should come another day if they were going to be late. Assembly was difficult - the instructions were unclear and in some cases appeared to be incorrect, and half of the hinges needed to be installed upside down in order to be functional. Some of the wood was slightly warped as well. All of this sounds worse than it is...the hinges look fine, as does the wood, and we're thrilled with the piece, we just wish it had been a little easier to receive and assemble."

Mission accomplished
Date:December 28, 2009
"I spent 9 months looking for a mission style buffet to go with my dining room table. I looked on-line and in every local furniture store. I even got a bid to have one custom made. I was hesitant that this would look cheap because of the low price, but it looks better than I expected. I served my X-mas buffet dinner on its top. Assembly took a while but was straight forward and not complicated - just a lot of pieces. Overall, happy with the product. Dark finish looks good with the glass doors. I did add different knobs to customize the look."

Nice value, difficult assembly
Date:November 9, 2009
"This is a nice value, but a challenging assembly. Instructions for assembly are difficult to understand, and include a large number of Ikea-like cam nuts, which strip really easily. Once together, the product looks great, but manufacturing tolerances are what you might expect at this price. For example, the doors do look great, but close inspection reveals that it is not possible to install them at identical levels. It's not noticeable, unless you really look, but don't expect precision with this item. I would definitely buy again, despite the installation and imprecision."

Good piece of furniture
Date:August 8, 2009
"I'm very happy with my recent purchase of this product. It's very sturdy and of good quality material. It's the perfect size I need; I have a wine mini fridge set on top. It's deep enough to hold that unlike other buffets that are not as deep. You'll be happy with this purchase."
