"We've only had the pad down a couple of weeks, but it is very well cushioned and stays in place with no slippage on a hard laminate floor. I have noticed a very slight tendency for the outdoor rug we're using the pad with to shift a bit - not enough to be a safety concern, just enough to look a tad crooked at times, but I'm wondering if that is due to the pad being almost as long as the rug, and the rug has tightly rolled under and bound (and very stiff) ends. In general, though, I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy this item again for another rug."

"Absolutely LOVE this rug pad....especially for the sale price! The only minor drawback is the vibrant blue color (if it peaks out from under your rug). Solution to that? Make sure that the pad is at least an inch away from the edge of your rug. I trimmed mine to fit. The pad is nice and thick, and there hasn't been any slipping or sliding despite heavy traffic and a young dog running around!"

"Purchased two of these. Under one carpet it works perfectly. For some reason the second rug, both identical, still shifts. But overall the padding makes the area rug feel that much more comfortable."

"This more expensive rug pad doesn't work like the cheaper thinner version. The rug still moves and shifts plenty. I would return it but it is not worth spending the shipping and handling."

"Perhaps it was the rug, but it didn't hold; I had to sew the carpet I needed to keep in place TO this mat. The directions clearly stated work on a carpet-to-carpet application but the 'stickier' side didn't HOLD the underside of my rug! How frustrating. So, after SEWING the 7+ ft long runner TO the mat, it sort of works."

"I've used the less expensive "honeycomb" type rug pads in the past, but they left marks on my hardwood floors. This pad is double-sided for use on either wall-to-wall carpeting or hardwood floors. It's perfect for my use on hardwood; very smooth rubber on one side and dimpled on the other (to hold rug in place)."
