"Excellent Cabinet for the money. Very Heavy.
Moderate assembly difficulty but if you follow the directions you will have no trouble.
No blemishes of parts upon delivery and I bought two of these cabinets.
Well packaged. All parts present to the exact number needed.
Note: When it comes to attaching the doors to the cabinet use three of the styrofoam packaging blocks stacked up to support the doors. If you select the right combination of blocks the holes in the hinges will align with the screw holes in the cabinet perfectly.
One note...there are 4 small dowels used at the bottom of the cabinet...glue these in for better support.
I would buy these again."

"I purchased two of these units for my Easton Press books, and on the whole I am very pleased. The units came in (3) boxes each and were well packed with no shipping damage. Assembling the units requires two people, and getting the hinges right for the glass doors can be very tricky. I had to assemble and reassemble them several times until I got it right."

"First of all, this shelf is a good value. It's difficult to find a good looking shelf with glass doors at this price.
But the workmanship/design leaves much to be desired. The side pillars are too heavy in comparison to the single fixed shelf. After assembly, I had trouble closing one of the doors until a leaned it against a side wall (I put the shelf in corner). Pressing it up against the wall helped align the shelf and now the door opens and closes easily.
It's simply extremely flimsy and this presents problems with alignment. The flimsiness causes one of the magnets to mis-align and it became to strong and took too much effort to open the door. I had to remove the metal that contacted with the top magnet on one of the doors because of this.
So the design/build quality is overall kind of flimsy, but it is worth what you pay. Again, it's good looking and very cheap considering that you get a big, deep bookshelf with glass doors. It's not a bad choice if you can get over the flimsiness."

"I love the idea of this bookshelf and the overall appearance. However, the things things with the quality of workmanship could be improved.( hinges, knobs) This is the first thing I ever bought for home decorators. I was looking for a book shelf to go in my home office and this one seemed like it would match all of my other furniture. I expected this for the price of $ 200 after shipping that it would be pretty durable and sturdy considering it is over 1/2 for what I paid for my desk. However It is sturdy but not as sturdy as it should be. What I mean by that is it's not going to fall over but it is a tad wobbly. The hinges are very cheap so that could have something to do with it. For what the other reviews said I knew the doors needed two people so I was prepared. The door installation was fine until the right door wouldn't stick to the magnet on the inside of the bookshelf, but after a little bit of moving around we fixed it. The only other major complaint I have is right when we got it out of the box the right side wood had been coming apart, but we were able to fix that with wood glue and a clamp. Also the right door wood was coming apart a little but I just fixed it with a min-wax pen. Last thing you need to take note on is that the hardware knobs for the doors are very cheap and small. I will be replacing them with hardware that matches my office desk. Bottom line it's not perfect but it works for what it needs to do. if you get it on sale, it is worth it. I would just not advise to paying full price for it."

"This is a great piece. We really needed a tall bookshelf with doors. This is a beautiful tall piece that provides a lot of space. However, it scratches very easily. I barely grazed one of the doors and it already shows a white nick on it, which isn't great on a black cabinet. Also, the glass panes are a little loose so when the doors are opened or closed they make a vibrating noise. We've tried to tighten the braces for the glass, but have had no luck. Overall, I would recommend this piece- it is pretty, provides good space, especially for the price."

"Two people needed for door assembly unless you are taller and accustom to solo work. Make certain that you have two people to line up the body before you screw in the back-otherwise the doors won't line up. Price was good..better bookcases go for hundreds more."

"My son found this bookcase on the internet for his music books. He has quite a colection and wanted an enclosed bookcase. I received the bookcase and immeditely began putting it together. Instructions were simple to follow. I found a crack on one of the doors and immediately called. A replacement door was sent out and I put it on. The bookcase is a beautiful addition to my son's room. We will definitely order a larger one from your company when the tirme comes."

"I needed 3 of these cabinets, so to me it was a great value. It took 2 to assemble, not becuase it was difficult, just due to the glass doors and need to hold it square while putting it together. Apperance is great, however one of the cabinets had a smudgey defect on the top. Not worth returning at this price. The company was great to work with, these shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I've bought several "put together" pieces of furniture, and this is one of the better ones. Would recommend it."
