"OK, so first I must introduce myself "My name is Angela and I am an area rug junkie". An area rug can instantly change the look and feel of a room or setting. This rug is an instant charmer with the muted color palette. We live in The Rocky Mountains and our home is mostly contemporary. I have made a twist on that this year by changing it to Rustic Contemporary. This rug sealed the deal on that look. The two styles work well together and fit in nicely in the mountains."

Just what I was looking for!

"After having bought and returned countless area rugs, I stumbled across the HomeDecorators website and loved what I was seeing. I spent hours at their website and finally chose the Lodge Rug. Upon sharing my purchase with my sister, she commented "Now we're talking!" My sister-in-law said, "I want one!" It was delivered very quickly and I've had it down on the floor now for a week. The only disappointment is that the rug is not as bright as it appears in the picture. That doesn't stop me from luvin' it though. Every time I walk into the room, I have to stop and look at the beautiful addition to the room. I love it!"

"I bought 2 of these and am very satisfied - plush and true to the picture. I was very happy HD offered the rug pad for free because it was a thin one that tends to be inexpensive in most stores. I would have been very unhappy if I had paid for the pad!"

"This rug is just beautiful. We've had many compliments. It is warm and soft underfoot--an important feature for us since it is in our walkout basement bedroom. It seems a little darker than the photo although on sunny days the patterns really stand out. I know we will enjoy this rug for a long, long time. By the way, it arrived way faster than we expected."

"The colors are mostly cool but rich, with some warm accents, and they've inspired warm colors for the walls I was going to paint anyway. The green in the photo appears more sage than the pine that it actually is. Some warm and bright-colored pillows on the dark blue loveseats that surround this rug, and I feel like a real decorator! This is for the high-traffic family room, and the dog loves it as much as we do."
