"A friend helped me to put it together--a little difficult at times but easy overall. The color was a little disappointing--I expected it to be a lighter wood--more like a light maple instead it is not even a ;lite oak but a honey colored oak--more medium than light. But it looks expensive and is perfect for my CDs, videoa, etc. Plenty of stoprage space and a great size."

"This is very well made and has excellent details. It was fairly simple to assemble. The only complaint is that the color is quite light, in fact a little lighter than it appears on the screen, and so this does not blend as well as other pieces from Home Decorators with the older pieces we have. However, this did very nicely fit a specified location, and this type of precision in dimensions is not always possible with older furniture. We may darken it a little, since it looks quite authentic otherwise."

"I looked earnestly for a cabinet to place under a wall mounted big screen television. I wanted something to place a cable box and dvd player on top and be able to place all the excess wires, surge protectors,etc inside. This is the perfect piece for that and its height is an added bonus for appearance. And, for the price, nothing else I found was even close. Very happy with this and it went together effortlessly."

"not too hard to put together but needed to redo the drawer runner as they had installed upside down at factory, this took awhile. Color is orangey, need to paint. Size works just right for me."

"I bought this to hold a 29 gal fish tank. Its not meant for this purpose, but compared to 'real' fish tank stands, this one does the trick better. Overall good quality and looks great once built. I had to fix a few cosmetic issues (small chip in wood, draw alignment, re-stain small mark) Nothing major but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so would have expected to not find these issues given the price. Sturdy construction overall given weight of fish tank. Again, this looks great when assembled."

"I usually purchase solid wood furniture not something I have to put together myself. The drawer rails wouldn't hole the weight of the drawer and we had to fix it with our own hardware. the drawer didn't close correctly right from the beginning."

"The box arrived as promised in the scheduling e-mail. All parts were numbered and all numbers were correctly identified on the instructions. The hardware was alphanumeric identified in multiple bags. All the parts were included and they were of good quality. Everything fit and we wish all "assembly required" purchases went together so easily."

"This table works very well for my entryway, and offers ample storage space. It definitely does not look like a "put together yourself" piece of furniture. The hardware is gorgeous as well. It took a while to put it together, but it wasn't too difficult."

"I love the furniture. It looks great and suits my needs perfectly. My only regret is that the "dark oak" shade is pretty red. It did not appear so read in the pictures. Once I had 4 pieces here and had paid shipping, I didn't feel like I had any choice but to keep it, So I would caution you to make sure the finish/color is what you want before ordering lots of pieces."

"The major complaint I have with this cabinet is with the cam locks. They did not lock properly, it was as if they were too small. The cabinet wiggles due to this and if it did not have doors or a drawer it would fall apart."

"Right door predrilled hinge holes were off by a fraction such that the right door is lower than the left and drags on the cabinet. Also directions to install the latch catches do not explain which way to face the catches - first attempt - of course I installed backwards, had to reverse."
