"The picture makes this lamp look black and white. It is much prettier - the dark triangles are actually colored glass that has many different colors (red/purple/green in an oil slick type of look). The "white" trianges are various shades of cream/almond and really nice. When the lamp is on, it appears more like the picture, but when the lamp is off it looks MUCH DIFFERENT!"

"I am redecorating an office within my office. The entire office consist of antiques purchased internationally, as well as prints by John Stobart drenching the walls. Considering the economy, my budget was somewhat limited. I chose these lamps to blend in with the black leather inlays of the desk and lateral files, which made a perfect marriage of taste and design to complete the office. The price, in conjunction to the beauty are most rewarding."

"Looks great from a distance. Gives good light. The base is sturdy and well built. Wish the lines on the top of shade were alittle more stable and complete. Some of the small pieces have fallen off."

"Received the lamp very quickly. It was packaged securely and it looks great when illuminated.
One minor issue is that I had trouble fitting the energy saver bulbs into the lamp (the shade interferes with it).
Other than that, I love it and cannot wait to get the floor lamp to complete the room."

"Very classic looking; this is a nice lamp. It was very easy to put together. I bought the table lamp and the floor lamp in this style, and had them both out of the box and assembled in about half an hour."

"I bought two of these and really like them. At night when the lights are on, the star shape pattern on the top is black but in daylight when the lamps are off, it is a really pretty iridescent mix of colors."
