"Last Christmas I bought a ventless fireplace for Home Decorators and I love it. I have always wanted a fireplace but it wasn't feesable in my townhome. A ventless fireplace is perfect. It looks real and the fireplace gel fuel makes it look very real. The gel even crackels like a real fire. I have enjoyed many hours of just relaxing in front of my little fire and no mess no chimeny no fuss just a cozy look and feel. Highly recomend this especially with so many styles to choose from.

"My first experience with this type of product--it does put out good heat, and the crackling sounds add an authentic touch. After an hour or so of burning 3 cans, I noticed a light haze hanging in the house; not sure if it was from the gel. Didn't notice any particular odor; would be nice if a pine scent could be added to the gel to boost the effect. In the video about using the cans, it shows a magnetic opener that makes it safer to put the lids back on to squelch the flames. This does NOT come with the case of cans, and am not sure where to find one. But, long barbecue tongs work just as well--maybe even better, since you don't have to get as close to the heat/flames. Overall a nice product."
