"We looked at this rug for several months and decided to order it when it went on sale. It was shipped very quickly. It's quite attractive and provides a soft, plush anchor for our large dining room table. We placed it on a high-quality pad to protect the hardwood. Though it works with our color scheme, the background color is more caramel than the photograph indicates."

Wool Runner Bamboo design

"Rug came in a matter of a couple days. It is very thick pile and well made. I needed the longer length (14') and it fits perfectly both length and width. It looks really good in my hallway and I am very pleased with it. Manufacturer did a nice job with design placement of the bamboo leaves etc. - sometimes a design doesn't translate well to a narrow runner but this one is very nice."

"The photo online misrepresents the colors and look of the rug. It isn't at all "gold," but closer to grey-brown and does not go with the room. Also, the colors are not at all vibrant but dull. I sent it back. I wonder why HDC does not place a more accurate photo."

"I have been searching for 3 years for the perfect area rug for our new sunroom. This rug was one of three rugs in my final decision. After letting my decision rest for about 1/2 year, I just went back and looked at the 3 rugs again, and immediately I knew this was the one. It arrived quickly after ordering, just in time for a family gathering, and I received so many compliments. I am very happy with my decision. The design continues the tropical feeling of the sunroom and the colors match well. The colors are true to the website picture and I would call the "gold" more of a goldish-brown. As an 8' by 11' rug, it is stunning. I haven't noticed any pilling but it does fill the canister when I vacuum it."

"These are plush and beautiful rugs. I have a hall way that takes a turn so I bought two runners; one 2.6 X 4 and 2.6 X 10. They are perfect in the space and go beautifully with two Thai rubbings that are hanging in the hall. Slightly darker than pictured."

"Good Quality - Bad Depiction of Color. Returned Rug. I searched a while for the perfect rug to use in a new room addition to our home and was so excited about ordering this one, but was so diappointed when it arrived. The colors are no where near what is shown on the website or in the catelogs. The bamboo is not gold it is truly brown and the green leaves are not bright they are very dark and dull...all not attractive on the black background. Wanted WOW and got BLAH! Back to searching again."

The quality of the rug is excellent.
Unfortuantely I will be returning it because of the color.
The "Gold" is much darker than pictured in the catalog and online. It has too much green hue in the "gold" background and does not go with the decor in the room.

"This product was repeatedly delayed, over an almost 4 month period!!! Now that it has arrived, I need to return it AND the runner I bought to match it. The runner arrived right away, in the early fall. It is VERY difficult to maintain, showing everything that gets near it!
I have purchased many other things from Home Decorators. All were great AND delivered in a timely fashion. Not this item, unforunately!"

A Nice Thick Rug

"This is a beautiful rug for my entryway off the front door. I wanted to pull in the Asian influence from my dining room into the foyer with this rug. It is a very nice thick rug. The color is a darker red than I anticipated, so it will show lint/dirt easier. I was hoping for a brighter red. The bamboo is also darker that I thought, so it doesn't stand out as much as hoped for. But this aside, it is a very good quality rug."

"This rug was as beautiful in my home as on the pages of the internet. The rug is so soft and thick, i love walking on it without my shoes.
