Lovely small rug

"We purchased the large version of this rug for the living room. We were so delighted with the product that we decided to get the small rug for the entryway by the front door. The quality of the two rugs is identical. See previous reviews for caveats about rugs made of real cut wool. This rug is no different. Specifically, they shed for a while. However, we feel the luxuriant quality of the rugs far outweighs the temporary shedding."

"This 10' runner looked perfect. It flattened out easily after shipping and is thicker than I expected. Nice feel underfoot, great value, and the colors are true to the web site photos. I loved it. Unfortunately, so did my 10 year old dog, who has not chewed up anything since she was a puppy. See photo. This must be the most delicious rug ever. I got to enjoy it for about a week..... :)"

"Very happy with the purchase, especially the quality of the product. It is a little darker than on the computer screen, but that is the case with most items - they appear brighter and lighter than in real life. The little darker shade matches quite well and will not show stains easily. I have to repeat again that I am very very pleased with the quality of the carpet."

"The rug looks great, but there are 2 major flaws. 1) It stinks! It was clearly stored in a musty warehouse, and you can certainly smell the must. I almost sent it back, but instead, I am using Concrobium Mold Control spray to get rid of the smell. 2) When they say it initially sheds a lot, they really do mean A LOT! I can not seem to vacuum enough - it just keeps coming up! Overall, I suspect the rug will work out well, once we rid it of the odor and extra lint"

"I've been eying this rug for a long time. I finally bit the bullet and made the purchase. I love it. The room looks fantastic with the new rug. It is shedding, which I was prepared for from reading the other reviews. I hope the vacuuming helps. It is great quality. Even my 5 year old is excited. He comments about the new rug everyday! I was told that the delivery would be made by an outside delivering company and that I would receive a window of the times I needed to be home. That didn't happen. It was delivered by UPS. That was the only frustrating part. Overall, very happy."

"We just laid the rug out in our bedroom, and it's true to the photo and looks great. Very rich, deep color, and it's soft and plush. As several others have said, it's shedding, but that's okay. Delivery was on time, and we're happy!"

"I was very pleased when my 60 inch round rug arrived all carefully packed and shipped! The colors were true to the picture on the web. I ordered the selection of taupe in the middle and olive and burgendy jewel tones circles surrounding the ends. The rug is very plush and is great quality when you consider the price. A real find for those of us who love a deal!"

"I love to color of the rug and that is was made of wool and hand-crafted. And they do put a warning in that it could shed for up to three months. But still!! It sheds LIKE CRAZY. Like big balls of rug shedding accumulating in an afternoon. You pretty much have to vacuum every day and you can still see the loose fibers after vacuuming. I've only had it for a month and I've noticed that it has lessened and I'm sure it will continue to do so, so I'm going to keep it.
Just a word to the wise, if you are thinking about getting a new rug for a big party or holiday, buy this WELL in advance so you can get the shedding under control before you have guests that would like to impress at all."

"Rug is of very good quality....thick, plush, and comfortable. Colors match perfectly in my gameroom. The red is more like a burgundy, as was described in review I read. I have not, however, experienced the shedding that some of the previous reviews mention. I especially like that it lays flat even after being rolled up from delivery. The weight of it is such that it does lay flat very easily. I did use a rug pad under the rug which went on a hardwood floor. Very nice customer service is a bonus!"
