"This Antalia rug which I bought in the beige and red (maroon ) arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Was amazed that the colors exactly matched those shown on the computer screen and it blends perfectly in the area desired and serves to bring all elements together as I had hoped. Five minutes after the rug was placed on the floor, the family cat ran right to it and vomited all over a large section. It cleaned up beautifully with no problem. The thickness is nice and the fibers feel as though they will wear well.
One problem with workmanship kept me from giving this category an excellent. The rug was not exactly straight on one side.......minor detail and probably only the owners would notice it, as we did. Otherwise, this was a fantastic purchase and a beautiful addition to the room."

"The wool rug (Antalia) is gorgeous. The rug's quality, workmanship and thickness were a pleasant surprise given the inexpensive price. I am, however, sorry to be returning it since the color is not the lovely green as pictured on the webpage. It is darker and grayer green in person. Despite this, I will enjoy purchasing from Home Decorators in the future. I was pleased with the prompt delivery and helpful customer service."

Beatiful rug at a great price

"This rug is gorgeous. The color is not exactly as pictured so I could not use it where I intended; but I found another spot where it fits in perfectly. It is thick, soft underfoot and shedding very little. Just love it! And the price was unbeatable, at least $300 less than other rugs on the site."

"So, this is a beautiful rug. Mostly neutral with pops of red. If your into that it does pop out of the rug. The green is muted and an overall gold/tan base. I recommend two people to get it out of the packaging and if you wish to keep the plastic wrapping make sure you read the outside of it so as not to accidentally cut it. :) Your in for a laugh to get it out too, I had to use both arms and feet to brace as a friend pulled... It laid out flat in a relatively short time and so far I have not noticed any shedding."

Thanks for the information on colors - that helps in selecting a rug online. One question -- are you noticing any shedding since you purchased it?

"This is the fourth rug I have purchased from HDC and I have been extremely satisfied with all four. The craftmanship and drurability are excellent. The pictures online and in the catalog are great representations of the product. I have not been disappointed with colors not matching nor have I had to send any selection back because the pictures were misleading. HDC will continue to be my source for my future rug purchases."

"The 8x10 rug ordered in ivory - what a great value for under $300. Silky wool rug that was actually 8'8 by 10'9. The background color is a champagne/pale gold. The main colors are a muted rusty red and sage green. There are 3 center medallions that run lengthwise in my 8x10 rug and the symmetry is on point. Very little shedding as this is a tight weave rug. There was a slight textile dye wmell for the first few days but it dissipated."

"Ordered 6' X 9' rug in background beige color. A little disappointed with the other colors in rug, not quite the same as pictured. Hoped the burgundy accents in rug would be burgundy, but were more of a rust color instead. Very nice feel to this wool rug, however. Since off-coloring is minor, we're keeping this area rug for our living room. Appears O.K. with burgundy leather living room furniture. Very prompt delivery - received in 1 week. Nicely packaged, keeping rolled-up rug safe during shipping."

"This rug is listed as Ivory which it clearly is not. It has a muddy camel colored background. If it were ivory it would have been a keeper."

I have to agree, my rug is that same muddy camel/brown and not ivory with a sage border. I was sooo disappointed as the colors depicted on line AND in the other buyer who posted pics is not what I received. I wish they had been the brighter cheerier colors. They would have matched perfectly my decor. Now I have to go through the hassle of sending it back and it didn't even come with the correct paperwork to do so!

what I wished for

This is the rug I expected when I ordered. I can see the colors here are the same as on the website. I sure had my doubts about the colors on the website after unrolling my beige/brown version,but I can see the colors online were accurate judging from these pics. These are beautiful colors. I'll be sending my beige/brown rug back. :(.
