"design hides the dirt, i got black. easier to vacuum all my dog hair from my three dogs, i use in the laundry/mud room entrance area. cleans well with resolve carpet cleaner, powder form."

"I had just painted my Eat in Kitchen a Granny Smith Apple Green, and when we added this Spring on the Farm Rug, everything just came together. My daughter said Mom this room belongs in a magazine. We were very happy with the size 6X9, the condition, it looked great. It could be a little softer on the bare feet, but otherwise it is really nice."

"I bought this rug to go in front of my kitchen sink. Initially I was a little disappointed because the small rug I purchased (1'8"x2'6") does not match the picture supplied online or in the catalog. It doesn't look anything like it! To make matters worse, within 2 days the corner that sits under the cabinet (read - has NO wear) started unraveling. I glued it down to stop the unraveling and cut off the unraveled part, but this shouldn't happening to a 2-day old rug on a part of the rug that has not be stepped on!"

"This is a very lovely wool rug. It is very high quality in workmanship and appearance. The colors are so vibrant against the black background. I have it in front of my kitchen sink and it provides a nice cushion on your feet. It only needs to be vacuumed occasionally and looks great. I have purchased other rugs from Home Decorators and have been happy with all of them."

"I did purchase the rug & happy with delivery.....
but every time I vacuum the rug it's losing strands.. not just the fiber like they suggested but ....The whole STRAND!!
At this rate the rug will be pocked with missing pieces in a year...not exactly what I was hoping for."

"I had been looking for a rooster themed rug for my kitchen for months. I found this rug early into the search but I kept looking until I realized that this met all of my criteria - the right size, the right colors, the right style. My only concern was keeping the black background clean - I have 2 large, messy dogs - and 1 large, messy husband. Also - I hate vacuums so I sweep all floors & area rugs - this would be the first rug in my kitchen & I needed something that would hold up. I finally decided I had to have it & when it arrived I knew I had made the right choice. It is perfect - the colors are exactly what I wanted & it sweeps clean in seconds. I will be looking for a second rug for the kitchen - no roosters this time but the first place I look will be in this collection."

"Spring on the farm rugs are absolutely wonderful! They look great--the colors are vibrant and allow for versatility in how you decocrate the rest of the room because there are so many colors in the rug. The rugs clean so well--I have spilled catsup, blueberries, honey, syrup, spaghetti sauce etc. on them and they don't seem to stain--even on the non-black areas. Simply use wet cloth to rub clean. They look fantastic on our ash wood floor and actually accentuate the beauty of our wood floor. With the rug pad underneath, they feel so soft underfoot and provide nice cushionin for my feet when standing long periods of time in the kitchen. They do shed fibers as they indicated, for a good 3 months. I did notice that some of the fiber loops came undone initially, but using a scissor to trim them solved the problem. Because they are black, they show dust and lint, and regular vacuuming is a must--but then they look brand new again. These are very minimal nuisances compared to the cleanability, appearance and feel of the rugs. Great product!!! Highly recommended."

"I love the rug; it is beautiful and well made. The one downside is that it collects lint and any other little pieces that may be floating around the floor. I use it in the kitchen area and find I must vacuum daily."

"I purchased two of these for our entranceway as they were just the perfect colored highlights dominated by the black background. I was not disappoined. They are just stunning and dramatic enough without taking over all the emphasis in the decor. I like the look of the hooked rug rather than a plush pile, and they do not show the dirt (another main attraction of the black). I recommend this rug and have even gone on to purchase the runner for my kitchen."
