"We bought 2 of these benches they went together very fast and are the best quality I've found. Priced very affordable. One came with a small dent in front but its in a spot that kids would have eventually dented anyway. We have 8 children and I'm very impressed with the easy to clean leather top. Exactly what I had been looking for."

"The bench arrived in 2 days..ver quick delivery..I was prepared for the unpacking of the item..By all the reveiws that I had read created by other people who had purchased this Item.They all addressed the compleate mess that was created while unpacking ...by the styrofoam..so I unpacked it using a vacum..I vacumed each piece as i removed it from the box..it really helped cut down on the mess..I do not like that the Drawers (sides and back) are partical board..the screws stripped out easily. To compensate I glued all the seams to increase the strenght of the drawers.I glued every thing while assembling the bench to make it more sturdy..I lave learned from past experience of assembling furniture It does work.I recomend that if you purchase this bench you do so..I built it in stages..Drawers first...glue and let dry...next I assembled the baskets they were easy once I figured out how to place the screws in. The nent day I assembled the bench. First I went to the hardware store and purchased a bottle of wood glue they only provide a ver small bottle.After glueing all the drawers together since they are partical board.I did not have much left. I am a female..in my 40's I put this bench toghter by my self..I admit it would have been easier with two people,esspecially putting the top on..This bench looks ver nice when finished...it took me about 4 hrs with breaks...I took my time. I am not sure how the baskets will hold up...time will tell..this color Macintosh has a burgandy tinge to it...it matches my other furniture well. I am happy with every thing Except the drawers..They do fit ver well and pull out nicely...U just have to be careful since they are not made of solid wood. If u are looking for a bench this is a good one. I would purchase it again."

"This bench looks great and is perfect in the spot it was chosen for. It was an adventure to put together but with everything organized and marked so well we actually had fun with it. It took about 3 hours more or less but it's part of the story now when people see it. The height is perfect for our front window and right now our dog is lying on it and wishing for warmer days! You won't be sorry with this roomy storage piece."

"This is a beautiful Craftsman style bench. It was easy to assemble and sturdy when all put together. My only disappointment was s small nick on the top surface where you sit. We decided to keep it anyway because the leather cushion covers it. I still love it however and I would recommend it."

"Although this bench looks nice, the flaws made the construction very difficult. Certain screw holes were at least 5 inches off so we had to redrill, and the parts fit together sloppily. The drawers don't sit as nicely as I hoped. Should be fine for a basic bench but took all day to put together. Should have been better quality. We have the 42 in. three drawer."

"First of all this thing is good looking and quite sturdy and heavy when it is all assembled. But the packaging and assembly is a different story. This thing comes in 2 boxes, One of which is a heavy one. Once you open the box you have a lot of styrofoam packaging. But the real problem is some of the styrofoam is pierced and broken and the styrofoam balls (tiny and extremely light weight) are all over the place in the box. So after unpacking the box, I had to vaccuum each individual piece as these styrofoam balls are sticking to everything. And they are all over my living room as well. Assembly was moderate as the instructions are very clear and all the parts are clearly maked. All you need is a Philips screw driver and an allen wrench (supplied with this). Assembly is atleast 3 hours. Once you make the top and bottom pieces ready, take them as close to the location where you want this finshed bench to be and assemble the rest there. Once this is finished it is not very easy to move. Unpacking and cleanup took 2 hours (seriously 2 huge garbaage bags of styrofoam packaging.). So overall I spent alteast a good 5 hours."

"I loved this bench after we put it together. Im not a big fan of the ivory cover though. It has a very slight grid like pattern on it that you couldn't really see from the pictures. I am contemplating recovering it. The bench looks great though put together. It took my husband and me 2 hours to put together while slightly watching some television as well. The baskets fit a couple pairs of my husbands shoes in each one. I had a little trouble putting together the baskets. The screws weren't quite lining up, but eventually got it. The drawers seem to fit really well."

"Nice piece of furniture, fairly easy to assemble. Problem with drawer roller which was damaged, but solved with gorilla glue! Baskets screws didn't all line up, but again easily solved with a piece of wire. Fits in the place I wanted it for."

"I was very pleased with this bench. It looks just like the picture. There was a piece damaged in shipping, and Home Decorators sent us a new piece (actually, it was on the 3rd try before we got a piece that wasn't damaged, but they were always apologetic and helpful)."

"The bench arrived in excellent condition and well packaged. Assembly instructions were adequate, especially if you have a little experience - my husband and I put the whole thing together in under 2 hours. Assembling the baskets took a little bit of muscle and a lot of determination but in the end they came together and are very stable. We are very pleased with this bench and can recommend it without reservation."
