"I purchased three benches and all three had some form of damage. The finish is chipped in a different section on each of the benches

I like them but would like them in a better condition."

"This is a VERY nice chest for the bedroom or under a window. Caution must be exercised, however, after unpacking. The varnish or the glue exudes a sickening odor that permeates the house. Therefore, this piece should be aired out in the garage or outside if weather and temperature allow. I turned on my ceiling fan
and room purifier to clear my bedroom of the odor and slept in another room for 2 weeks."

"The picture shows this product to be something it isn't. It looks like it has deep great workmanship but once we got it it looked cheap. The cover looks like a light brown in the picture and is said to be brown but again, once we got it we realized the cover was more of an orange color"

"I bought this to store shoes in and as a bench in the kitchen. It is well-made, but it is not wood- probably particle board- and it has such a high gloss on it that it looks cheap, which it was not. It is solidly constructed, just not the quality I thought that I would get for $350+."

"This Storage Bench is not just a bench - it is a "piece". Beautifully hand carved and fits anywhere in a bedroom. I have it place underneath an Italian Tapestry next to a roman column. Worth buying. Its construction excellent. I love the satin stripes."

"It was smaller than I realized, so be sure to measure before you buy. Can only fit a couple sets of sheets in here.
Not wood, but looks pretty.
If I could redo this purchase, I would buy real wood and pay the differance.
The stripping (material) on the top was not put on properly. The lines are not straight, and no way to straighten them except to remove the frabric."
