"I purchased these bookcases in Teal and LOVE them! They were easy to assemble by myself (did two shelves and mantle), feel very sturdy, and add just the right pop of color in my craft room! I have been looking for shelves for a while and knew these were the ones when I saw them. I was right! The shipping was quick, as well."

"These bookcases are attractive and sturdy. I especially like the flexibility of stacking or positioning them side-by-side. The finish is dark-cherry-light mahogany. Set up was very easy - no tools. There were minor scratches out of the box, which were the only reason I reduced the rating for "workmanship" to 3 stars. I would buy these again."

"I bought the yellow bookcase because of the price but I am pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is and how good it looks. I bought two more to stack. I will most likely paint them sometime in the future but I am very happy with my purchase!!!"

"What a great idea. It folds! How easy is this! I just needed a bookcase for my teen's room to get her books off the floor, and I was dreading putting furniture together, when I saw this shelf. It is very sturdy and looks great, and it is defifntely going to college with her. Love it."

"We ordered the PINK bookcases because (1) they were on a great sale and (2) I have three girls and I know eventually they will end up in a girl's bedroom. They are fantastic. I have stacked two of them and left two unstacked. They hold a good deal of weight. We have A LOT of books! We have put baskets on some of the shelves to hold toys and they look wonderful. All one needs to do to assemble is take the bookcase out of the box and unfold it - simple! They are all wood and the pink isn't overly pink. The stain is okay, but if you had time, it would be better if you painted them. For a playroom though, they are perfect. I would even use these in a living room or another space if they were in black or a more neutral color."

"I had previously ordered bookshelves like these in Walnut. This last order was the same. But bookshelves were NOT the same shade of wood as previously; the wood was much darker. It did not seem to be Walnut, but some other type of wood. I didn't bother to send it back, but it was NOT what I ordered."

"This bookcase is really easy to assemble, it took me 12 minutes to put everything together.The only problem I had with it is that the top cover could not fit in the holes. Other than that, it is worth spending the money on.
I have got mine for about a month, in red. The color is the same as it appears online. It completly changed the look of my flat."

"These bookcases are great and look nice. They arrive nearly fully assembled. You just have to hammer these wooden plugs into the bolt holes. The issue with this is that sometimes the plugs tend to splinter around the edges as they go in (I'm using a rubber mallet, if I used a regular hammer, I'm sure they'd disintegrate). They definitely could be better designed. Once the plug splinters around the edges, it leaves an unattractive raw wood look around the plug. Since I ordered black, I was able to use a black furniture marker to cover up the surface damage, but I found it quite vexing. I'd rather have the raw bolts exposed than have these shattered plugs visible.
Otherwise, these bookcases are great. And even better stacked with a mantle top. Be sure to put the mantle top on before you stack it! Mantle top is a little hard to get on, so needs to be done first."

"These shelves are inexpensive, attractive and extremely easy to put together. We are using them in our pantry and they work perfectly. The space between the shelves is big enough for cereal boxes and the shelves fit 2 to 3 rows deep of canned goods, tomato sauce etc. Overall, very happy with this purchase."

"I bought a bookcase in purple, a color that is being discontinued so this may not be all that useful. However, it still seems to be worthy of note that the color was patchy; lighter here, darker there and the wood bare in a few small ares. Indeed, the shelves almost looked like a different color from the body, it might be do to different types of wood(?).
Also there was a 2-3" nick on one of the shelves.

"I purchased the bookcase to put in my closet for shoes. I bought the double bookcase with top shelf. It fit perfectly in my space, was easy to put together and is light and airy so it does not look heavy in my closet. The spacing is great and holds clear boxes for shoes perfectly."
