"I purchased this book shelf for my daughter to store some very large and heavy reference and text books. She is thrilled with the way it looks and how well it functions. We were first attracted to it's flat folded storage for apartment living, but were very pleased that it is also a very attractive, well-made piece. I also purchased the top, but it would be a nice option to purchase another stacking shelf later to add on if needed.
I appreciate the versatility and quality of this shelf."

Nothing Fits Together

"I bought 6 folding bookcases and three top shelves. My intent was to stack them so I would have three tall bookshelves. Well, that was the plan anyway. The tops did not snap onto the shelves because the holes and nibs did not line up. I don't know if the shelves will stack properly because they are too heavy for me to lift, I'll have to wait for help before I'll know. Individually the shelves are well made and are what I wanted but the concept of snapping things together seems to be undoable."

"I've owned other stackable bookcases, but these are by far the best I've seen. Folding shelves on other products might rest on a cork nub, but these shelves are supported by mounted metal brackets. I trust the shelves to bear anything I might put on them. The construction is solid wood and feels sturdy.

One minor quibble I had was that a couple of the wood nubs that hide the screws on the side of the shelves did not fit snugly into their holes, and I had to apply a little glue to make them stick. But other than that, they are great shelves; I bought two and plan to buy six more!"

"I purchased these to use in my home office (finished basement) - they are sturdy and complement the decor very nicely. The tops fit snugly so I would recommend a using a rubber mallet to tap them into place (use a piece of fabric or the packing foam sheeting rather than striking the furniture directly)"

"I bought these for my son's room at college. They are great! The ease of the assembly was exactly what we needed. Just open the sides and drop the shelves. They are well made and the finish on the wood is very nice especially, for the price. We purchased the top seperately and it really finished them off nicely. It looks like a more expensive piece of furniture than it was. Excellent Value. He was so happy wtih them that we have already ordered another set."

"This book shelf set is just what I wanted. Living in a small village in Alaska it is very hard to find items like this at reasonable cost and decent shipping service and I got both with this order. Also very pleased with quality of item. I will definitely order again. Thanks."
