"I am very pleased with this file cabinet! I think the photo is a perfect color match! I was very pleased with the delivery company! They gave us a call to schedule a 4 hr window and called 30 minutes ahead also! They did stay to make sure there was no damage in shipping. It was all fine and fully assembled!
The packaging was superior than most!
I love how heavy the cabinet is and hope that I will not have a tipping problem as I have with others. I think having smaller drawers will solve the problem also!"

"We were looking for a nice file cabinet for our office, hopefully cherry-colored. We came across the 6-drawer version on Home Decorators and were amazed at the low price. This cabinet had gotten great reviews, so we bought it in cherry. It was delivered relatively quickly and included the white glove service. This means that they bring it into your home, unpack it, place it where you want it and take away all of the packaging. The delivery man did not know he was supposed to do this, even with the bright pink sticker that read, "Premier White Glove Delivery." He had to call his boss after I mentioned it, and they said to take care of it for me. Anyway, it was fully assembled (even handle pulls were already on) and it looks great and is sturdy. Great price for what it is- even though I don't quite know what it is made out of!"

"This item was purchased without concern, as I bought an ivory 6 drawer version last year and was extremely pleased. However, this cabinet's quality does not come close to the quality or ivory color of my previous order. I could understand it not being a perfect match in color, but this piece should be called golden or amber, not ivory. Now I understand why it was on sale!"

"I half expected overpriced particleboard that would fall apart. I was amazed at how extremely solid the furniture is. It was well packaged and arrived in great condition. The only surprise on this one was that the files will face sideways instead of toward the front of the drawer. I was also surprised that I had to schedule delivery."

"This came totally assembled except for the drawer pulls which easily screw into place.
The cabinet was packed well, surrounded by thick styrofoam and a sturdy cardboard box. The entire cabinet was in pristine condition.
It is a very solid piece and while I wouldn't put lots of heavy objects directly on the bottom of the drawers, it does seem to be able to hold a good amount. My heavy files are solidly in place and the file racks are notched directly into the wood, which is a better construction then some screw in types.
(It would be nice if HD added photos of insides of drawers for cabinet, dresser items)
The style and finish isn't as modern as I would like but based on the price, solid build and coming totally assembled the compromise is worth it."

"The only problem was with the pull handles. One would not go on correctly. The file cabinet is so nice and packed so well. The manufacturer should fix the pull problem. It is such a minor thing and could be fixed so easily."

"I have been pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness of this ornamented file cabinet. I had almost given up finding a file cabinet that would coordinate with a french styled lady's study. The file cabinet is very solidly constructed and practical. My only small criticism is that letter sized hanging files perch on the top of the drawer rather than a metal rod. The cabinet is packaged so well that it sat on my snowy front porch without any problems. Very happy with my purchase."

"Construction is poor quality pressed wood. Drawer knobs have stripped screw threads and do not hold. One of the drawer guides had torn loose and I had to take it apart and reassemble. The "wood" "stain" was still fresh and had a very stong odor for 5 weeks. For the price I paid I am very unhappy. I will not buy from you again."

"This 6 drawer file chest/cabinet is absolutely beautiful. It is heavier and sturdier than I expected. And I appreciated that it did not need any assembly.
One down note. The handle on the middle top drawer came off when I tried to open the drawer the very first time, and the maintenance man in my building who was helping me with this and my other purchases had to replace the screw with a longer one in order to keep the handle in place. I'm grateful for his help. I'm not quite sure what I would have done without him. Now all's well that ends well."
