"Top & bottom good. Sides made of pressed wood not strong enough. If a "screw" slips, you then have a hole in the side of your board. And they are not strong"

"I ordered the stand in golden cherry. The product delivered was labeled golden cherry but was identical to the pictures in the catalog and on-line that were called French walnut. I returned the item without unpacking it."

"I was worried about assemby but it was so easy. Everything clearly marked, labeled and sorted in packages. Only took about 2 hours . Was impressed with the solid pieces and construction Well worth the cost and would buy again. The only drawback was the color. Not anywhere near what was pictured on website"

"This is a nice piece of furniture which looks like it costs considerably more than its price. It did take a few hours to assemble and one piece of wood was cracked. However, that part fits into the back assembly and is not visible, so I did not attempt to replace it. Overall I am very pleased with the cabinet; I purchased it for the bedroom and wanted the cabinet section to store books in. There is one open shelf for the cable box and plenty of room inside the doors for books."

"This TV stand looks very nice in my family room. My 46" LCD TV looks good on top, and I like that the stand is a few inches taller than most. The assembly directions could be better, but overall it went together fairly easily. I ordered the Golden Cherry, which turned out to be a bit darker than it looked in the picture -- more cherry than golden."

"A very nice looking TV stand with a traditional design that can be difficult to find. The stand was well finished. The directions were clear and all of the parts were included. It was definitely a two person job. It was awkward to work on the stand.
I am still trying to figure out whether the material is pressed wood or particle board. I was disappointed to discover the stand does not seem to be made of real wood boards as the description is "quality wood." I guess I was not reading critically enough."

"This is more than a TV Stand. It's more like a a piece of furniture. There is a lot of storage room behind the doors. All the pieces and hardware were included and it wasn't too hard to put together. We did drill another hole (there is only one) to hide more cables. The swivel top works very well."
