Corner TV Stand

"The slide-in back panels did not fit correctly, they had to be cut. The back panel did not go down far enough to fully insert in the lock. Two of the locks broke so we went without, there were no extra pieces in the kit. The pieces did not all fit tightly even though we followed the very clear direction throughout the assembly."

"good quality product. easy to put together, two people do help, but all the parts fit and all tools were included.

The only thing I don't like and it is just part of the design, is that because it fits in a corner, the movies in the storage area will not stand up in a straight line as they would have if the ends were not at an angle."

"I am very pleased with this corner cabinet. It was delivered in just a few days and was simple to put together (in fact I put it together by myself in about an hour or so before my husband came home from work - note: manufacturer suggests that two people assemble it together). I was nervous about the color, because in the picture online it looked lighter than it actually is in person. I think some of the photos that others have posted on the site depict the color more accurately. It possibly varies from one computer to another. However, it is kind of a dark cherry. It works well in my living room and fit the corner beautifully. I really like the top of the cabinet. It has a nice design on the wood that adds character to the piece. My only gripe is that the magnet on the doors doesn't seem to be that powerful, so I'm not sure how it would hold up with alot of opening and closing. But, so far, I don't have much to put in it, so I'm not really concerned about that. Looks great."

"I got the xtra large Dartmouth and this is a perfect piece for a 37-inch flat screen. Great quality and easy to put together. Corner unit really opens up the room. Storage space is incredible, so if you have other electronic boxes, you can place them behind closed doors. The open shelf holds a cable box and dvd player nicely."

"I usually never buy by internet but after going all over to find a small corner cabinet and not finding one, I chose that option. It made me quite nervous. (The chat I had with somebody of your company mostly about the measurements helped considerably)
When I received it, I was first impressed by the amount of individual wrapping, so well done to protect every piece of the cabinet. Then after the quality of the wood. First it's wood which is quite unusual for a moderately priced item.
I just love it."

"This item is a very good value. It sits nicely in the corner of my living room and fits perfectly with our 40" HDTV.

Assembly was what we expected and except for a few mishaps it came together very nicely.

The venier is well crafted and gives the piece a nice look. You notice it's not hard wood but it does pull of the illusion very well.

Overall a great buy!"

"I have purchased items at the Home Decorators Collection store, so I wasn't concerned about ordering on line. This is a really nice solid piece of furniture, just what I was looking for. "What a nice accent piece! This TV cabinet is solid, beautiful and well-made. It looks wonderful in our bedroom and has great storage space behind the doors. "This stand was pretty easy to put together. The only problem I had was attaching the piece over the open shelf. The screws seemed to be too short. So I did not attach it and it looks fine. I would definitely recommend this tv stand. Great look for the money!"

Dartmouth TV Corner Cabinet

"My 70-something mother has a small living room with traditional furnishings and had to have a TV cabinet that would fit in the corner, plus be substantial enough to hold her new flat-screen TV. Not only did HD offer the most choices and variety of decor styles at reasonable prices, theirs were made mostly of real wood, a priority for both of us! With a few hours sweat equity, we ended up with a very nice-looking, solid piece of furniture that NO ONE would guess had to be assembled or came from a catalog. It even has marquetry on the top! The instructions were clear, the pieces well marked, and the results, what we consider a very smart investment! Why waste money on "cheap," unattractive TV stands made of MDF at Best Buy, WalMart, etc. when HD's products are far superior in every way!"

"I was very please with this stand. Fits in with antiques and more formal furniture but would also work in other areas. It did come in a VERY large box so be prepared. Also must be completely assembled--a two person job."
