"I got the 24" bench for my small entryway. My cats love pulling the drawers out and laying in them. It took a little time to put together with a lot of pieces and parts, but overall it's straightforward to put together. The cushion cover has a zip closure so you can take it off and wash it. I got the Merlot color, and it is pretty red, don't think it's chestnut. Once it was put together, it's very sturdy even with heavy weight."

"...the backs of the drawers do not fit. They are too big and not routed out correctly either. I need to figure out how to get them fixed. The holes to put the bottom front piece on were filled with junk and the screw went through to the part above, showing slightly. It also cracked the front piece as I screwed it in place."

"Product arrived in a timely manner (considering we are a new development and don't show up yet on a GPS). My 16 year old son put it together for me in about 1.5 hours (he said it was pretty easy), it sits in my foyer and it's the first thing I get positive comments on as soon as someone enters the front door. Will definetly buy again from Home Collections."

"I bought the 45" version of this storage bench. I put it under a window and in retrospect I wish I had bought the longer one. The bench itself is well made and looks great. It is a little cumbersome to assemble but it was less difficult compared to other products I have bought. I was actually able to put this together by myself. I would buy it again. The bench pillow is more of a light yellow than a cream color. The storage space is good."

"I purchased this bench to put in our bay house for additional storage and a place to put on and take off shoes. I am very pleased with the construction and sturdiness of the product. I purchased the white bench and the only thing that I'm not completely happy with is the offwhite/yellowish fabric used on the cushion. It doens't look very good against the white paint. I'll probably recover it with something else."

"I ordered the Oxford Bench online and it shipped the next day. I think we received it a week later. I was hesitant to order from this company due to some of the negative comments, but I really liked this bench and couldn't find anything like it elsewhere. We received it in a timely manner and all the parts and pieces were included. The instructions made assembly quite easy. I would order from this company again."
