The Perfect Table Date: September 7, 2009
"We needed a table to fit along a wall that included storage space, allowed space for decorator items and photos and looked good, too. This table meets all those requirements. We chose the 48" width, but this table is available in a 36" and 60". The drawers come pre-assembled which saves a lot of time when assembling the rest of the table. We couldn't be happier with our choice."

"Very pleased with this purchase, only wish I had purchased the 60" wide one! The craftsman collection matches my more expensive older mission style furniture from Bassett very well. MacIntosh oak not as dark as some of the pictures show...more like classic dark oak...very pretty. Easy to assemble. Not sure the wicker baskets are worth an extra $100, but they do look nice. I would recommend this item."

Just What I Was Looking For! Date: July 16, 2009
"After extensively searching for a piece of furniture for the foyer in my house, I decided on this. It is absolutely perfect. I know others have said the color appears to be more of an orange, and I was worried about that, but that wasn't the case. It was pretty much as depicted.

Assembly was fairly easy and only took me about an hour; had I been 20 years younger with better eyesight it would have been faster! :)

It is a good, solid, beautiful piece and I would highly recommend it."

"The assembly was far easier than we had been expecting based on previous reviews. It is built like a tank ~ very sturdy. The only 'con' is that the stain is much more red/orange than it looks either online or in the catalog."

"Shipment arrived quickly and easy assembly. finish is good and very solid. I just wish it was not made in China. Speaking honestly, i would not have bought the product if i knew this. But overall, i would recommend it."

"I really liked the look of this unit on your website. However, when I received it the baskets looked dramatically smaller than the picture shows. The dimensions are acurate but the picture is misleading. The baskets are also made with metal which scratches the wood when slid in and out."

"Great piece but beware. HD's website does not depict colors very well. I know they blame it on the monitor but I've never had a problem before. This piece is much lighter than it shows online. Otherwise, it is really good quality for fake wood furniture."

Be Careful, Shelf Sags Date: February 11, 2009
"This table was fairly easy to put together and looks good, but you have to be careful about not putting anything too heavy on the shelf because it is very thin and flimsy. My shelf started sagging after a short while with books, and I had to turn the shelf over and put weight on it to try and make the shelf straight again. I bought the longer table so it has a wider span of shelf, this may not be the case on the shorter table."

"This is a beautiful piece that went together in about 10 minutes. It shows a quality of workmanship. I have it in my entry way with lots of pictures on it. the baskets are big enough to store some good size items in which is one of the reasons I liked it so much. I would highly recommend this console table."

"I am using this as a hall table in my foyer, looks great with the matching mirror! Note** I ordered it in dark oak finish first, had to send back(really orange!!)The macintosh oak is beautiful--what other manufacturers usually call dark oak. I put a couple of wall sconces up (one on each side of the mirror, and it looks great, I've gotten many compliments."

"The packing was solid, and even though the item weighed almost 100 Lbs., it was undamaged. The insrtuctions were foolproof. Each item needed to assemble the item was in a seperately marked package, cross referenced to the instructions. All I needed to put it together was a phillips head screw driver.
When others saw the server, they could not b elieve it had been assembled, since it looked like a custom made piece of furniture. The construction is SOLID, unlike other knock-down items I have purchased and assembled.

"This console table is very nice. My only concern is that the baskets are going to scratch the wood. I placed a covering on the bottom. It looks nice but if your looking to use the baskets on a regular bases rather than just for looks, the wood will need protection."

"This table is very functional and versatile. I was pleasantly surprised when it only took 2-3 days to arrive. My 9 year old son and I assembled it. He took charge and about an hour later, it was complete. It was fairly easy to put together. Not only is this table very sturdy but the baskets are large and deep. I've loaded them up with magazines, cookbooks and toys. The drawers glide open and close easily. This is a great value for the money. The quality is much better than some other places. I will buy again."
