"I realized we needed very heavy, sturdy stools at our kitchen island after my niece started to climb onto my old stool and it slipped on the hardwood floor and fell! I never wanted that to happen again! She was very startled to say the least.
These stools are are very solid (but not so much that they can't be glided in and out by a seven year old!) I just put some furniture felt pads on the bottom and this has worked out very well when the stools need moved a bit. Also, the placement of the back is heavenly! I have lower back pain and these stools are a dream to sit on with that back support! The material on the stools is very durable and soft and the footstools are placed well too - it's nice not to always have to tuck your toes in like on many other stools.
Overall, I am very pleased with these stools and all of my guests have really enjoyed sitting on them. I loved the fact that I could customize both the seat and bottom too. I chose balck seats, black bottom and they look great."
