"After months of searching for a storage solution for my small master bath I found this cabinet. The drawers are roomy and my husband and I can keep our bathroom stuff organized and out of sight. The shelves in the cabinet area are great for storing clean towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. After reviewing products from Ikea, Pottery Barn, West Elm, Crate and Barrel, etc.(and considering having custom cabinetry built $$$$$!) I have been nothing but satisfied with this product. It's a bit heavy for one person to move, but its worthy tradeoff for solid construction."

"I have to say that the cabinet looked very nice online. When it arrived in on long HEAVY box I was confused. I didn't realize that it was going to come in 27 pieces that I would spend 4 hours putting together. I have to say that once I got it together, it looked nice and fit everything we needed it too. Unfortunately, the screws they provide to put the piece together went right through the veneer in two places and is now non-returnable and scarred."

"This is a lovely piece, although one of the pieces cracked and it is in a place where we didn't want to take it apart to fix it. It smells of formaldihide. Hopefully the smell will go away!"

A million little pieces... Date: August 26, 2009
"We didn't realize how many pieces this came in! Wow. Opening the box gave us new appreciation for the many toys, gadgets, and other presents that parents around the world put together on Christmas morning. However, the final product was well worth the effort. It looks nice in our bathroom, matches our sink/vanity very well, and is going to add the perfect amount of storage."

NICE PIECE OF FURNITURE Date: August 14, 2009
"This cabinet is a perfect size and very nice looking. It would go with many styles of decor. It has so much storage even my "clutter bug" hasn't filled it up yet-in 2 months! The quality is good, not great, but not much is these days. It's a lot better than others. One piece was damaged and I received a replacement promptly. Definitely worth the money and I'm finicky."

"This is a very nice storage cabinet. It has a lot of room. I have looked at other places for storage cabinets and could not find anything with this much storage space in it. The color is just OK. I would have liked it more if it was more of an oak color but I still like it and will be using it for storing all types of items."

"Pro: The assembly was quite easy. The color is even. Seems solid.

Cons: Area where the Toggle Lock inserts, the back wall, when the lock in engaged, the wood is too thin and about 30% of the walls buckled...you can see a protruding dent from where the lock is located at.

Conclusion:
NOT fine furniture, good for beginning households or use as an in-between furniture, until you find the one you want (solid wood of course).

Good bang for the buck and if you can not afford real 100% solid wood furniture, give this place a try.
Would I get it again - - maybe"

"The piece was very easy to put together because everything was marked appropriately and the directions were written out well. It's a great little piece that looks great in a room and has a lot of storage space. I like the removable shelves. I got a piece that was very expensive looking for a practical price. "The instructions were not as detailed as I thought they'd be.. but definitely use two people in assembling. It took me about 2.5 hours to put together, I recommend getting a power screwdriver or drill to speed up the process. The overall look is great and versatile to many rooms; I'm using it as a lingerie chest/linen storage unit but could easily use it in the living room or dining room.

They also forgot to include the screw for one of the knobs which is a bit of a pain but nothing I can't deal with."

"I purchased this item for my daughter's room about a year ago and it is great. One set of shelves and the drawers are for her clothes and the other set of shelves are for her toys. With all the space it helps her keep her room relatively clean. The dresser is very sturdy and will last her for years. So far we've added the matching Hampton Bay desk to her room and I am planning to add one of the open bookcases this year. I spent quite a while shopping for childrens furniture before I gave Home Decorator's a try and now I am thrilled that I didn't purchase elsewhere."

"Attractive unit, about three hours to assemble with two people. Arrived on time, although exterior packing was torn. Only problem was fully half of the included cam-locks chipped or shattered in the assembly of the unit. I have one more Hampton Bay cabinet to buy; here's hoping the cam-locks were a bad batch."

"I purchased this product as a lingerie chest for my bedroom and love it! I thought the drawers were going to be a little larger than they are, but they still do the job! The only thing I wish is that it had another shelf for the cabinet. It only came with three and it would be better if it had 4. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product. It is sturdy and looks nice, not like the other cheap products you have to put together yourself!"

"At first, assembly looked daunting. But directions were clear, everthing fit perfectly, and the number of screws, nuts, bolts, ... was exactly correct. It is essential to have a portable electric drill/driver for assembly. Unit design is very good."
