"The "runners" do not align with the "pre-drilled" holes. The "pre-drilled" holes are NOT actually drilled. There are two different runners and the instructions give you no clue why or to which board to attach them. I have wasted hours trying to figure this one out."

Disappointed Date: June 20, 2009
"While I didn't expect this item to be of high quality, I expected better than it is. One drawer knob didn't have a screw that fit. Parts of the piece are very flimsy. The drawer slides are nice, making for a smooth opening and closing, but because of the flimsy parts (such as the bottom of the top drawer) I don't think this piece will hold very much weight. I like the design but the quality is very disappointing."

Not sure how long it will last... Date: October 30, 2008
"This item has its good and bad qualities. First, it's very attractive and definitely a complimentary piece in my living room. It hides its purpose as a filing cabinet nicely and the quality of the exposed wood (top, sides, drawer faces) is great. Surely looks like an expensive piece.
But, then there are the negatives...
Assembly was difficult. The directions are slightly cryptic (although they tried). They do provide you with extra hardware, THANK GOD, because the particle board used to make the drawers is so cheap that the screws go in... and keep turning. Would be very easy to just pull pieces apart, regardless of whether they are screwed together. I ended up using extra screws wherever I could. Assembly was also made difficult due to the fact that the directions say to screw pieces together that you can't get to. For example, you have to insert the bottom drawer before screwing it in... but then you can't get to the back of it to secure it in place! Getting the face of the bottom drawer on was also nearly impossible. The directions tell you to assemble it a certain way, but the holes are missing and the directions are incorrect. I had to drill my own holes and use the extra screws they provided to fasten the drawer face on... like I said, thank God they provided extra hardware."

Solid build quality but tendency to topple over Date: October 13, 2008
"This cart uses heavy wood panels and has a nice, solid feel to it, but when the top drawer is fully extended, it loses its balance and topples over. I put a heavy laser printer on top to prevent this from happening, but stuffing the bottom drawer with lots of files may also help."
