"...yes, a pair of these arrived and are let's say very accurate in color to the photos here (as are all as I see them), and that means these are a few shades darker than many of the other made in China items ('orangey' Dark Oak). These are *very* well made and come out of Malaysia. What's a shade or two, especially when they're in a bedroom anyway...zzzzz... :-)"

"Very nice piece of furniture. Directions for assembly need a little work in that some minor details are left out. The drawer sides and back are made of press board and split when I attached the drawer slides. Even though I drilled pilot holes."

"These tables are just beautiful and are the same quality as the other craftsman furniture we've purchased from Home Decorator's. The only complaint is that the directions were not well written at all. Thank goodness my husband is handy. I would not have been able to put these together myself from the directions."

"This is a very attractive nightstand and taller than most - which is exactly what I needed for my rather high bed. The color is great - as depicted.
It went together well, although it took a couple hours or so as I did it by myself. All the instructions were clear, all parts labeled well, none missing.
I like that the drawers have wheeled runners and fit well. I have only had this a bit under a month, so can't comment on the quality over time, but am quite happy with it now."

"I own two of these and I have to agree with other reviewers that you're getting what you pay for. For this price point it's good furniture. But, stain is thin, uneven in places(not bad tho), and chips VERY easily. Knowing this, as someone else suggested, go to home improvement store and purchase comparable stain; I am now experimenting in unseen area with sealing since I'm tired repairing dings. This furniture chips, and does NOT take a ding like my grandmother's store bought Mission furniture from the 1950's.

On a positive note: one person can assemble it tho I suggest a hand screw driver so you have finer control; no slipping and scratching."

"I love the Arts and Crafts style and I had my eye on this piece for a long time. My bed is unusually high so I bought this for a night stand. The color was very true to the sample colors shown. I was able to assemble it myself even though the instructions say to use two ppl, but I would recommend a power screwdriver or drill to save your wrists! The only problems I have is that the stain didn't cover some parts of one side panel and a corner edge of the top panel is a bit jagged."

"I had a difficult time putting the drawers together. After I figured it out, the drawers don't fit flush together. There is space between the drawers faces in the front of the piece.
The wood is beautiful, I guess i'm just not a furniture putter together!"

"Excellent product -- beautiful and great quality (wood and hardware)! We bought a pair of these for our bedroom and love them. Assembly is straightforward. "I realized the piece was not assembled but I did have difficulty starting at step 6. Had to get help. Also found the wooden divets were too long for the holes so I cut them shorter. Because I bought 2 I have had to have my grandson put the 2nd one together. But they are a perfect match to a piece I had purchased at a military base in our area."

"This is a great piece of furniture. Very solidly built and well worth the money. It looks great in the bedroom! I have bought several other items in this line and have not been dissapointed with any of them.
I will say what I find alot of other people saying...get a second person to help putting it together!! It's not hard to put together but sometimes 2 heads are better than one since the instructions always seem to be more visual than actually instructional. Also make sure you have a power drill, it will make putting the drawer slides on much easier."

"Knowing this was essentially flat-pack furniture I wasn't expecting much from this product, but what I ended up with easily exceeded my expectations. The finish is excellent, assembly was relatively easy, and the assembled table is solid as a rock. Overall nothing like the usual flat-pack furniture that can be had cheaper from some stores.

I eventually wanted several more pieces from this collection and after careful assembly of this table I'm sold. The end product far exceeded what I thought I would get.

The only issue I had was the surface finish was built up in several of the dowel pin holes and took some quick cleanup to properly fit"

"This nightstand is attractive and fits my needs perfectly. However, a little wheel on one of the drawer sliders was missing from the shipment so my husband had to purchase a substitute wheel which didn't fit well but he made it work. No glue was included with the shipment and the assembly instructions did not recommend glue, however, it must be glued or the sides spread out and the drawers do not work. Thankfully, my husband is a good handyman or I would have had considerable difficulty making it work."
