"This is a nice looking file cabinet/bookshelf. It was easy to assemble-- can be done by one person in about an hour and a half. This product says it must be affixed to a wall, however we do not have it against a wall that can be drilled into. It seems fine standing on its own as long as you weight down the top and bottom and use caution opening the drawers."

"I was so eager to get organized, but this piece arrived in 3 boxes with TONS of pieces. My teen sons have put together multiple pieces of furniture for me (many IKEA ones and others) and this was the hardest ever! The directions are incorrect AND confusing, some parts needed to be altered, and it takes DAYS and HOURS.
It's now a week later and it is still not assembled.
I'd suggest paying for an assembled piece or one with better directions and less pieces.
If I had to pay for labor, I'd be broke by now!"

"Received delivery within 4 days of purchase in 2 large boxes at door step. Packaging was excellent in preventing potential damage from shipping. It took two people about 2 hours to fully assemble the unit. Assembly instructions were pretty easy to follow as we mostly relied on the pictorials. Parts fit together well. There were a few very minor imperfections in the wood (small dents/nicks, wood stain blotch) from the factory but they are really not noticeable to the casual glance. We did not like the very small chrome drawer pulls so we remedied the same with a $12 purchase of richer looking pulls at Lowes."

"Inadequate instructions lead to mis-assembly and a frustrating re-do, 4 drawers should have had 4 left and 4 right side pieces but instead contained 2 left and 6 right hand pieces; luckily redrilling the holes for slide fasteners solved that problem; very cheap fastener quality and the cheap drawer hardware promises future slide problems. Overall, very disapointing product for the money. Contrasted badly with the rather good Savanah line items previously purchased & assembled by me."

"I love my new furniture. My son-in-law put it together for me (it may have taken me some time...a somewhat large piece of furniture so possibly a two-person job). It fits the area as if it was custom made and looks lovely. I especially appreciated that you had a narrow piece available to fit the spot and its finish is that of a fine piece of furniture."

"I was hesistant to make the purchase knowing I would have to put it together. Actually I'm getting pretty good at this kind of thing...and this was much easier than I had anticipated. It arrived super fast!! The instructions where easy to follow and well laid out in an orderly fashion. The pieces where all clearly marked making it easy to follow. I put it together by myself so it took a bit of time...about 2 hours or so ( I didn't time my self)..not bad. It looks great and the sliding drawers are tight and work very well."

"The assembly instructions were well illustrated and all pieces were included. There was one cambolt that was the wrong size and was not usable. I had to leave that one out - so I chose a section that was well reinforced and I don't think it will matter at all. Everything else was consistent. The finished piece looks much more expensive and the file drawers are workable. It took me 6 hours to complete but I did not have to re-do anything as the instructions were clear."

"This file storage cabinet is an excellent cabinet for a large screen TV. The shelf at the bottom holds audio and video equipment and the file drawers can expand the capability for instructions or other documents for the equipment or just for general filing. It looks great in our living room."
