"Beautiful Rug. I bought the Terra colored rug - it was true to the color I saw online. This rug is a premium rug in texture and workmanship. I bought the round rug for my dining room. The squares look great in the round rug."

"I bought the rug after Christmas and got a great deal. When the rug arrived at the warehouse the manager there called to say it had been damaged in shipping. He believed there was no way I would want it and even sent a few pictures to confirm. So I contacted Home Decorators and they quickly sent out a new rug. In short order the new one was at the warehouse and then delivered to me at my convenience.
The color is perfect (I got the blue) and extremely close if not identical to the color on my monitor which I was hoping for.
I have had it for about 5 days and I am NOT having a shedding problem. (A cat problem though, they love it too much!) The rug is thick and feels great underfoot.
I have noticed a two loose threads from the bottom poking through and am a little nervous about that indicating a quality problem and the reason for my 4 star rating. Otherwise I am extremely thrilled with the rug and the experience with Home Decorators."

"I am more than happy with the rug I received. I am using it in my foyer and it is perfect with the semi circle design, very straight edge and fits against the door perfectly. It is plush, easy to clean and using the rug pad it does not move when cleaning off shoes."

"I bought the 2' x 3' terracotta. I was looking for a one color rug for my island sink. I have a printed Persian rug at my larger sink with some burnt oranges in it and this rug works perfectly. The rug is more interesting than just being a one height plush. The cut out squares are subtly obvious. The color is an orange rust and not orange. There is slight shading in the color tone which is nice. If you are looking for a simple understated rug that is brownish orange than you may be interested in getting this. The shedding isn't a problem for me, but my rug is smaller. Shipping was delayed and took over a month for me to receive it."

"I've had 2 of these rugs for close to 6 months and I couldn't be happier. I purchased the Terra color and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a shockingly bright orange; it's a true, deep terra cotta color with just enough pile variation to capture your attention. Even our Great Danes approve, as they usually squabble over who gets to lay down first! :) The extra-heavy pile feels amazing under bare feet and makes for a comfy and heavy rug, but I'd strongly recommend a good rug pad, as even the 2' x 10' runner will easily scoot across the hardwood floor if you're in a hurry. Yes, they shed (as wool rugs often do) but this is no match for my Dyson...and they look brand new with each vacuuming. I plan to purchase another for my living room, as I haven't been able to find a rug of this quailty anywhere close to this price. Absolutely love it!"

"The texture of this rug is luxurious. The pile is dense and thick. The weave is tight. The block design adds texture to the room. The orange is a warm orange that is not too bright and overwhelming for the space, but matches my orange silk curtains perfectly. I love the fact that there was a round option because I am not a square or rectangular person, and that was not a possibilty for the space. I would suggest extreme vacuuming initially though, because it filled my Dyson with carpet fuzz with no change to the rugs appearance. The huge bonus was the price, and it was shipped fast & without incident. Wonderful buy!"

"These rugs are sumptuous under your bare feet, cushiony to walk over with shoes on. Workmanship is high quality and they provide resilient fibers for long wear. Clear colors are eye appealing, blending nicely with color schemes. The solid color plays up nicely with my oriental rug. If I had purchased another oriental rug for the same area, the colors would be too busy, rather than restful and harmonizing."

"I ordered this rug in a 5 X 8 size and a 2' 9" X 14 foot runner. I took delivery on the runner just yesterday and I LOVE IT! The color is very true to the picture (I got the Terra color) and it looks great. It's very plush and the unique pattern is eye catching. I wish the 5 X 8 was not back-ordered. I won't get that until Nov. 2011. But, it's is definitely worth the wait!
The only thing I would like to have is a pad for the runner. I ordered and received the pad for the 5 X 8 when it gets here but I need a pad for the runner. I'll figure out a solution though - this rug is AWESOME!"

"I have purchased a lot of area rugs from H.D., but this rug I re-turned. The color was not a true red, the quality was very poor, and it was just unattractive. I was really shocked how different it appeared in the photo. I did not think twice before I rolled the rug up and shipped it back. ( I usually try to make something work, but this was the exception,"

"After purchasing several other rugs for my poweder room/bathroom, I returned each one. Some were more espensive than the Rafael Rug, but none were even in the same category as it. This is a luxuriant, plush, wool rug that will undoubtedly last forever. The color sample on line was exactly what I wanted. I was thrilled to find that the actual color of the rug was represented very well in the on-line sample."

"To be frankly honest, I was afraid somewhat to purchase this rug online because I was unsure of what I was actually gonna get, being I was unable to see it in real life. But I had been all over my city looking for the right rug which wore me out! I was sick of driving and stopping only to be disappointed in what I found. So I gave Homedecorator.com a chance and this rug caught my attention. Better than that, when it arrived and I rolled it out in place, it was absolutely perfect in size, color, texture and density. The quality is outstanding and the quality is that of way more expensive rugs I'd seen in local stores. Would I advise my friends and family to purchase here? Yes!!!! I love my rug and am gonna buy a few more!!!!"

"It does shed and clump up, but it is a great value for the price. It is really thick and plush. Feels great under your feet and has a vibrant deep red color. You do need to vacuum and my dogs wreak havoc on it, but it is beautiful."

"I love this rug. Great Quality, thick, plush.The added texture of the design gives this a modern clean look.I bought another style of rug when I made this purchase, and this is the rug that recieves the compliments from friends and family. The downside is that its not the exact shade of green I was looking for. However, that said, I did not consider returning it."
