"I really do like this file cabinet. I did not realize that none of the drawers have a lock on them, which would of been helpful. Be careful on wood floors and pad the feet as they do leave a red mark if you scoot it."

"It looked great in the box, but by the time I got it completely out, I noticed that the entire base had been split and re-glued together. For the money I spent, this was very disappointing..."

"I needed a filing cabinet but I wanted something for our guest room that guests could put their suitcases on. This was perfect! I found this through Home Decorators and was very pleased. The only negative I could say is that one of the casters didn't screw in properly because the holder wasn't placed correctly."

"This product looks much better on the internet than in person. 2 of the drawers did not work b/c of the poor craftmanship. My husband had to reassemble one of the drawers and the other did not have the sliding mechanism in place. This is MADE IN CHINA."

"I thought this was a very good item for the cost. It was exactly as I expected. Previous reviewer mentioned an odor, and there is one, but not overwhelming, and it fades everyday. I wish the quality of the leather was a little better, but overall pleased with the appearance and the purchase in general."

"This piece is reasonably priced and of reasonable quality, not the finest filing cabinet I have ever seen but quite nice for the price. Assembly was minimal and extremely easy. Delvery was prompt and courteous. My only complaint is that the interior smells a little chemically funky. I hope it airs out soon."

"The shipment arrived quickly and in good condition, very well packed to prevent damage. Assembly only involved attaching legs (very easy) and inserting hanging bars for file folders in correct location. It looks great and has large capacity. Good value for home use, may not stand up to constant use in a busy office as the drawers are not exceptionally heavy duty."

"I received this file cabinet and was very dissapointed. I have quite a bit of leather furniture in my home of good quality. When I opened the box the leather was very rough around the edges of the drawers appearing to have been scraped. I tried leather conditioner to soften but the leather was so rough that the threads of the towel were being ripped off and stuck on the drawers. The glides have been stained and are not large enough to hold the weight of files with paper. Also, the drawers only pull out half way so there is no way to get to the files in the back. I almost feel that this is a piece of furniture that you would find in a discount warehouse as damaged goods and purchase it at 75% off."

"The leather covering the file cabinet was very dried out and the stain used for the interior was overwhelmingly powerful smell wise which is very off putting especially since I wanted to use this as a dresser in the guest room. After leaving the drawers open for weeks and having the cabinet for months, the smell is still so great I am afraid to put clothes in it. The over all look of the cabinet is nice though."

"This cabinet looks better in the picture. It arrived with quite a heavy paint smell, the interior of the cabinet was also very sloppily painted and unfinished. The actual leather is of poor quality and it is not an even finish, it has stains."
