"My home has a lot of turquoise accents, so I ordered the smallest size in the turquoise color to place at the front door entrance. It is very colorful and the perfect size. I also like the fact that it is durable and stain resistant. The free shipping was also a plus. I love this rug!"

"This rug is the perfect color-not too blue and not too green. The color is bright and not washed out which I love! The 7x7 square was perfect under my kitchen table. I am totally satisfied with the quality and looks of this braided rug. I've had the rug for about a week and if it lasts equally to my satisfaction, it'll be a total delight."

"This isn't so much an area rug as it is a mat. From the picture--which is poor---it's hard to really make that distinction. I bought this rug/mat (5 x 7 size, in black) for use in my kitchen to replace a 100% wool rug I'd had there for years & years & so far I'm a little disappointed. The copy says this rug/mat can be used both indoors & out, but so far, after only three weeks, the fibers are already starting to pull out of their braids into little tufts. We have a firm "no shoes in the house" policy & it's only my husband & me, so it's not as if this gets a lot of wear & tear.
It's also harder to clean than I thought it would be. You can't use your vacuum's rug-cleaning attachment, only the one intended for hard surfaces. (Says so, right on the little 4 x 5 card shipped with the rug/mat, but printed in a type size so teeny-weeny that if I hadn't read of complaints about vacuuming from a previous poster, I would have missed this all-important cleaning instruction.) But the hard-surface attachment doesn't really get up all the little crumbs & things from inbetween the rows of braids. I'm always down on the rug/mat, picking up bits with my fingers.
This rug/mat is made of a synthetic material that does not, despite what the copy says, resemble wool, not in the least, and which has been braided into thin strips which have then been sewn together using a zig-zag pattern with what looks to be monofiliment, or fishing line. It would seem, then, to be durable, but based on my experience so far, I'm not predicting it will be in our house for all that long.
I thought seriously of sending it back, but I'd, of course, bear the shipping costs, sinking yet more money into something that isn't working. So, I'm just going to cut my losses here, and put the cost of return shipping toward a new--and actual--rug, as opposed to a mat, one made of natural fibers, not something that's "wool-like". And what will become of this rug/mat? I'm going to send it out into the Universe & let somebody else get, for free, whatever use they can from it."

"I absolutely LOVE this carpet!!! I have a dog with short white hair, and he sheds.....A LOT!! Because of the texture on the carpet (black) it isn't very noticable and comes up very easy with a vaccum. I will be purchasing another carpet to put in my kitchen :)"

"I needed a practical, easy to clean rug for under my kitchen table in just the right shade of red. I had a Mazalan carpet made in the perfect colors for my Italian themed kitchen, but when winter rolls around in IL and with 2 pets it was difficult to keep. I searched all over for just the right color and cleanability. Finally Home Decorators came through for me--this braided rug is just what I needed. The only thing I wish was that it was a little bit longer and wider."

"Was concerned about buying carpet on line, yes even a runner. Product came within time frames given. Product was exactly as I had hoped. Rug has a great black shine to it yet very durable. It is being used in the entrance way of my condo and it looks great. You can also flip it over and use the other side so it can last a long time. Would suggest a rug pad if your putting it on any kind of flooring. I picked up a 9 ft pad for $9. Very happpy with my purchase and will use Home Decorators again."

"I bought this for our mudroom hallway. It gets lots of traffic from kids and dog. While dirt and accidents do rinse out (drag it onto the driveway and use a hose) the fibers got very fuzzy and worn looking. I found out too late that you are not supposed to use a regular vacuum with a beater bar. It causes the fibers to fuzz up and needed to be trimmed with scissors. I will replace it with something more durable, just haven't found it yet."
