"I was expecting the rug to resemble the picture on the website as per a number of reviews I read. I ordered the oval 4 x 6 rug in red and it looked NOTHING like the picture. The style and color was different, and quite dull. I had to return it. Sadly disappointed."

"While the rug was very well made and of a great quality, it just didn't work in the area it was intended for.....also, unfortunately, the colors or tints were off from the picture in the magazine so it wasn't as expected. The red/wine color was exactly what we wanted...however the ivory depicted in the magazine and online appeared to be more of a grayish...or even a light green in the area we put it in....maybe it was our lighting in that area...sadly, we couldn't keep it....I also loved the scalloped edge and the thickness of the rug..."

"My husband was shocked when I ordered this rug because I was hoping it was more burgundy than the described red, and that it was true to the picture. When it arrived, my husband stood watching as I unrolled the rug. Burgundy, not red--just like the photo. It is a beautiful well-made rug that will fill our need for a long time. This is not the first rug I've purchased from Home Decorators, and I'm guessing it won't be the last. I do wish they divided the reds between shades, but as long as the picture remains true, we will trust ordering again."

"The Masterpiece rugs are fabulous! The white area is not true white like the photo, it's more of an off white to taupe color, but it looks great. These rugs are wool, so expect them to shed for awhile, frequent vacuuming should take care of the issue in time. I knew that when I ordered them, but after reading other reviews on wool rugs, people tend to complain about the shedding issue - it's a given, it's a wool rug! Reasonably priced, delivered quickly, awesome product!"

"I received the rug a few days after I ordered it. The quality & workmanship of this rug is superior. The texture is much more than I expected. It feels deep and luxurious to my feet. I love walking on it. The colors are true to the picture. I was very pleasantly suprised with this piece. I have it in the entryway of my home & it looks beautiful. It is 8' round and it seems a wee bit small for the area. I wish it were a liitle larger."

"A beautiful rug. True to colors on web site. Very thick and so plush, although does shed a bit but i've found with other wool hand tufted rugs this will eventually go away. I ordered 3 different sizes (sizes true to description) of the burgundy rug. This is a TRUE burgundy (I would say a "red" burgundy ( which I had hoped for)! Beautiful sculptured edges add a wonderful option (over fringe). I highly recommend this rug !"
