"Exactly what I was looking for. The "anywhere chest" arrived in great time, was in perfect order and all there was to do was remove packing material.
I was afraid that the appearance might be a little cheesy looking (the catalog said hand painting) however, it is classy looking and fits in beautifully in the room it was purchased for."

"This 5-drawer chest is perfect. It's sturdy, well built, and to my surprise completely finished all the way around. I did take advice from another reviewer and put one coat of polyurethane on it. I want to keep this piece of furniture in its perfect condition for a long time and with one coat of protection this chest should last a long time. The online chat answered all my questions which was my deciding point in purchasing this item. One quality that's not mentioned anywhere about this chest is the drawers are guided with metal tracks and has a stop. The drawers are lined. The finished detail on this 5-drawer chest is great!"

"We selected the 5-drawer piece as a theme end table between two leather chairs in our "library". We were pleased with its "authentic" appearance and a top surface large and sturdy enough to hold a lamp and more. It comes fully assembled with drawers that are lined with a brown felt material, slide easily, and all open to the front. It is exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price."

"I ordered this a gift for my sister-in-law, who had seen one like it "somewhere". A web search led me to this site, with several similar tables. The ordering process was extremely quiek and easy - a very user friendly web-site. The table came fully assembled except for the small legs. My sisiter-in-law loves it. I also received a coupon to use on a future purchase, and ordered a small throw rug for myself. Everything I have received from this company has been excellent quality and value. I woulld highly recommend anyone considering a purchase from this website to go for it!"

"This chest is a great look and fuctional. Everyone that has seen it was blown away by it. Then when they found out it had functioning drawers, that really wowed them! The only downside is when dusting, the dust needs to be scrubbed a bit due to rough finish....I solved it by using a water based polyurethane over the entire piece. Dust glides off, and it enriches the books' finish......Worth it!!"

"I purchased 2 of these for my library. I wanted something functional but "library" themed. They look much better in the photo than in person. I don't regret my purchase but they are made VERY cheaply and I would not put anything of value on them such as a tiffany lamp because I do not believe they are sturdy enough for it but they do look cute."

"The chest is so beautiful. There was a smell of formaldehyde or some form of preservative for a few days but that went away. Now all our audio tapes are in one place. Looks wonderful with out leather family room furniture. Thanks once again. Looks lovely with the mica floor lamp we bought a while ago. That was great too."
