"The box came VERY damaged and looked like it was routed through Afghanistan in shipment. It is so well packed, that the contents were undamaged. Let me say that it looks beautiful Doors were easy to install. The vessel, not so much. The instructions are useless. If you don’t have experience with plumbing, hire out. The p-trap and drain assembly is absolutely terrible in quality. I could not get it to stop leaking, so I ended up going to my local hardware store to replace everything. If you are nervous about tightening down the bowl like I was, don’t be. If you don’t really tighten it down securely (so that the vessel doesn’t move), you get lots of leaks. It will not break if you tighten it down. My other complaint is that if you don’t have a PERFECTLY even floor, trouble looms. The feet have no leveling capability. I had to fashion my own rubber feet to get it not to rock. If it rocks, you start having drain problems (lesson learned)."

"Assembling this vanity was very easy. All parts were labeled and the instruction were clearly stated. The only problem that I encountered was that the portal in the back had to be cut wider and lower for the plumbing at my house to fit. This is no fault of the manufacturer due the fact every home is unique and different."

"Arrived very fast. Very nice looking cabinet. I have not put it together fully yet. Bowl sink is very nice and faucet seems of decent quality.
It is low as some have posted, but that is due to the design of the bowl sink."

"Our spare bath was soo outdated that we wanted to spruce it up a bit before we sold the house, so bought the Amanda vanity in the lighter wood as well as the tall corner cabinet and the big mirror. It was so well packed I couldn't believe how much styrofoam they got into there and it was very efficiently packed too. The granite was beautiful and heavy. I like the elevated feet - makes the bathroom seem bigger. The sink is very pretty and doesn't look cheap. The faucet is so-so in quality, and I used all my own piping so can't comment on what it came with. The latch was damaged and HD customer service was top notch - they couldn't send a replacement piece so gave me a very generous credit to buy a replacement at our local hardware store. Problem was we couldn't find one that wouldn't require some major re-working, so I bent the old one back into shape as best as I could, though it meant the doors were slightly misaligned when closed. There is no backsplash and it doesn't attach to the wall, which could be a problem if you've got rowdy kids and they push it around because it'd pop right off the plumbing with not a whole lot of force. We like it and it was perfect for our needs, just don't expcet that you're getting a $1k+ vanity for this price and you'll be happy too!"

"Ordered the 20" vanity for a powder room I am building. Couldn't find anything in the big box stores and not much on-line until I got to HDC. The vanity arrived promptly and in good shape. It looks to be well built and is very attractive. Haven't installed it yet so I can't say how easy or hard it is to install. So far I am very happy with our purchase."

"We ordered this for a flip and it looks great. It is a bit lower than we thought and had to put a 12" backsplash around it to make it look right. The granite top was actually 72.5 inches which unforunately was 1/2 inch to big for the space and had to have some creative sheetrock work, but the backsplash covered it. One other issue is they tell you that it has a shelf on each side, but the plumbing pipes render that shelf useless."

"The vanity cabinet is sturdy and attractive, but arrived without the parts that link the sink drain to your plumbing. Though assembly was easy, waiting for the missing parts meant a serious delay in our bathroom remodel."

"This is our 3rd attempt to receive a vanity without defects. The first time our contractor gave us the wrong measurements and however, the vanity was WONDERFUL, but it was too large for the space, so, we sold it to a freind and decided to order the half moon amanda vanity. We were so excited to receive it and all appeared to be well but when the contractor removed it from the box there were two large dings on the side of it under the sink. We arranged to send it back and the customer service representative was WONDERFUL and helpful and because of the customer service representative and the quality of the the first one that we order we decided to replace it with the same one (things happend in transport we understand that) however, when we received the replacement there was two larger dings on both sides of the vanity again. The vanity itself looks as described and the customer service representatives are the best but we just can't get one of these cabinets without the large dents on the sides."

"THe Amanda sink cabinet looks great. It is real wood, unlike what you find out there, and for $299 it is a steal. As other reviewers discussed, it is a low cabinet. I am buying longer legs to raise the cabinet. It should be fine. I would raise it about 5 inches from the floor. THis con does not take off the good qualities of the cabinet."

"We purchased this vanity when free shipping was offered and the original price was discounted. Construction is ok, it "looks" expensive. The drawers are flimsy. My husband put it together quickly and found out he needed additional pipe to hook up the sink. The faucet seems to work ok but feels like plastic, we will replace that soon. It shipped well, and again for the money it looks nice."

"After several months of looking for the perfect vanity, I decided on the Amanda Vanity set. I was apprehensive about the purchase due to the height of the vanity. But after reading the reviews and the solutions to the small problems of height and the piping, I decided to make the purchase. What a great choice!
I took the advice of purchasing a different P-trap, and building a support platform bolted to the wall, for the vanity. My husband removed the steel frame base and built a 2x8 base out of lumber. This raised the vanity 71/4 inches to 36 in height. He then attached it to the vanity and bolted it to a wall stud which gave it a floating look. ( Just as another review has suggested.) We had also purchased a Linen cabinet, which came w/ a matching 8 ft toe kick. The cabinet was only 22 in wide, so he used the left over to trim the base to match the vanity. It looks beautiful! Good price for such a classy & modern look!!"

"I love the vanity. my husband has yet to install it, it has been sitting in my room for several weeks. It was a relief for us that they carried it up the stairs, it weights about 350 lbs and there is no way me and my husband could have gotten it up the stairs. The only thing that really bothers me is that it is soooooo short and we are short people. We had my father -in- law just make a black frame about 3 inches to put between the wood and the metal frame. I can't wait to have all the storage in my bathroom."

"Beautiful, well built vanity. Sink is really thick glass, granite is great, and the faucet is really cool too. The price is excellent. We were looking at vanities twice the price and not as well equipped. Came within 6 days, very well packaged. There was damage to the outer carton but the piece was so well packed inside there was not a scratch! I love this vanity!!"
